Pads and retention system are adequate out of the box and every type of helemt attachement or cover works with these helmets. I have a dual nvg setup and the wilcox mount fits solid. Side rails seem robust and my ear pro hasnt moved once. Gotta say this is a great bump helmet for an awesome price.. Oh and i added a frontal ballistic shield which made this helmet a bit more useful. Dont buy a crazy expensive bump helmet..save those extra dollars for a ballistic helmet.

I'm not sure what the thickness has to do with anything?This bump//fast helmet is solid. Holds my Wilcox L4 and monocle well.Comfortable and secure. We'll see how it holds up to my life.For any application fun or real. Self assemble internal and Velcro sticker sets

For the money it’s a nice helmet.Rails for mountsFront piece for nods/ single night vision adapterCame with Velcro for patchesCamo. (Multi cam) looks good and isn’t smudgy or faded.Don’t expect a whole lot of protection for this helmet.Falling on your head,dinging your head, light trauma is what this helmet would do ok withAnything else like fragmentation or whatever not so much I don’t think.Overall a nice piece for the needs.Fits great and doesn’t get uncomfortable

I tossed everything else. I also over-paid. I replaced the pads and the suspension system and the hook and loop stickers. Otherwise it's alright.

Looks better than any other bump helmet. CE sticker for safety rating. Comfortable and light. Padded fabric in head band can get sweaty, but much better that sticky plastic head band that leave indentations and red marks on your forehead. Not to mention you can attach all kinds of stuff to the picatinny mounts.

"MAS Grey" what a joke. This is Foliage Green. Terrible experience. Helmet was also so large it couldn't be used anyway. The retention system isn't even capable of becoming snug enough on a 23in head diameter. I wear a medium or large helmet on every other brand I've ever owned. Pictures show what I ordered, vs. What I received.

Comfortable for a helmet. Harness is good and secure - a Team Wendy would likely be better, but also twice the cost. For my very limited use, it should be fine. Also like the ability to mount a light so if I’ve got my hands full with ropes I can still see what I’m doing. Fairly lightweight, too. Should make a good safety helmet.

Came with all the pads and hook and loop fasteners unattached so requires some work to put on correctly. Fits well though and feels good.
