I've used these repair tabs to fix about 10 vertical blinds. It has been a couple weeks, and so far all repairs are intact. Some of our blinds have a light texture on one side, but this doesn't seem to have been a problem. I did, however, very thoroughly clean both sides with rubbing alcohol (applied from my own bottle with a rag), wait until it was dry, and then removed air bubbles and promoted adhesion by applying pressure to both adhesive tabs. I did this by pushing hard and rubbing the flat end of an AA battery all over the repair tabs (that's just what was within reach when I was looking for something to use).My previous repair attempts involved cutting a thin strip of plastic from some product packaging and super-gluing it across the broken part of the vertical blind. It worked, but these repair tabs are easier to use and work better. I can't believe I waited so many years before finding these on Amazon!

I wish these came in smaller sets because I'm afraid the will breakdown by the time I use many of them; which is good in another way. Makes blind repair easy and works well - works as intened.

After ‘repairing’ the blind, I am having trouble reattaching it to the mechanism as it is wider than original. I haven’t given up.

My Mom had 4 broken blinds and they repaired them like new! Perfect for the job. Her patio door gets lots of sunlight and it hasn’t affected the glue on the tabs one bit.
