This stuff is awesome! Our 3 year old LOVES playdough, but it seems to dry out after only one or two uses, I despise the way it smells and makes my hands feel, and clean up is a nightmare in a mostly carpet house (even with a designated area to use it in).For us this was a godsend. Our daughter loves it and even I find it strangely calming to squish around on my own lol.I noticed a few concerns in other reviews that I wanted to address based on our experience:1) Yes, it’s pretty sticky but that’s expected in order to keep the foam “beads?†together so it’s definitely a different experience than working with playdough or clay. I haven’t had any trouble with my daughter “getting it all over†like some of the other reviews, but I stray beads DO get left behind, I just take a tight clump of foam to pick them up and they lift right up - I’m sure there’s a scientific way to describe it, but it seems like the beads are designed to “prefer†sticking to themselves rather than other surfaces.2) It does leaves a trace amount of a sticky residue on the counter, but it cleans up easily and I prefer it to the more oily residue left by playdough. I’m not worried about the residue damaging any surfaces, and it cleaned up with my mild everyday cleaner and a paper towel.3) Our blue brick was noticeably drier than the other colors so it didn’t stick together as well, but it seemed to get better the longer we worked with it. Plus all of the colors eventually got mixed together anyway so it didn’t really matter for our purposes.4) I gave my daughter the first brick straight out of the package but because it was so compacted for packaging, she had a hard time molding it. So I simply mashed it and spread it out from the original brick to get it started for her, and she had no further problems working with it.It’s a new family favorite in this house all around!

Keeps hands clean. Fun sticky texture with the little styrofoam beads in there. We like mounding it up, using play dough tools with it, and recently we’ve been hiding small toys inside. My grandkids love this !

I haven’t purchased or used Wiki Stix before purchasing these so I have no sure comparisons to make but from what I have here I would say they are great!Despite the reviews I went ahead and got them. The sticks are thin but the amount of coated wax they have on give them the ability to be used multiple times. And, with the right maneuvering, they can stand and last standing for a while, given the proper balance and whatnot.I am most impressed with the amount of sticks received. Each color is individually packed so it made it easy for me to separate all the colors in half. Even with that I still had too much string on my hands than I knew what to do with at once. So I took the half intended for use and halved it again ending up with four decent sized portions that can last weeks to months. These babies will serve.As long as it does what it claims I won’t be fussy about the little things. I enjoy them as much as my kid does. Easy entertainment, easy distraction, minimal effort. Easy peasy.

It’s a great concept but it smells so badly of chemicals which is weird bc supposedly it’s a clean product and other than that those little balls end up everywhere if your not careful in your child’s hair and stuck to places you wouldn’t expect.

We love monkey foam - it is so fun to play with and way less messy than other kid activity things. It doesn’t dry out and can just be played with over and over again!

The product can be squeezed and stick together but constantly has beads sticking to hands or just break apart and All over the house. We have used other brands and this did not happen. Should get money back to cover time cleaning house

This was such a good purchase , my kids absolutely loved this stuff and it doesn’t stick on anything like playdough a parents dream lol!

2 yo loved them since we opened, he spends good 30 min non interrupted play with them. I include wooden knifes or any material to help manipulatate the foam. They're easy to clean up, the colors look great and size is great either for one kid or a playdate with some others.

The 2 year old played with this for about 15mins.(That's about half a day regular human time.)Can be left out of the box and still good when you find it laying around the house weeks later. (A win for the kid)Can't remember how much it costs but it's worth it because he still finds it around the house and has a good squeeze every now and then. All in all.... better than playdoh
