I am so pleased with this new yard spinner. We have loved the one we bought probably 3 years ago for becuz our granddaughters love to watch it spin, but, it had gotten so faded. Purchased this and was so happy at how big and bright this one is! Great price, quick delivery and love how it looks. Easy assembly and we think it is plenty sturdy enough. This pinwheel was easy to assemble ( 5 minutes) and looks beautiful with all 3 spinners working at once in different directions.I’ve tried several others, but this one is the most reliable and very attractive!I could ask for more in a pinwheel design and performance!It’s nice to get value for your dollar.

I attached this one with some zip ties up on my third floor fire escape in San Francisco where it's visible both inside from the window, and up and down the street. Whirligigs aren't as popular here in the city as the suburbs, but I like to think I'm providing some joy to passersby. It's very festive and fun to watch, it never grows old. I love the moving light patterns it makes when the sun shines through the three layers. It's fairly large and well made, more substantial than the dime store toy versions. Like some others suggest, I've assembled it with the middle wheel backwards so it rotates in the opposite direction. Also, per the suggestions and instructions it is definitely a good idea to glue the end cap on to avoid the wind blowing it off. That's a little tricky because if you use too much glue it'll get in the way of rotation.

These things spin like crazy with the slightest breeze. We love them. I have been very amazed by how many storms they have survived spinning as fast as they do. It has been about 15 months and one of the three that I purchased has finally starting to wear out (fabric is coming off a couple of the largest flower petals in the back). We do live in a breezy place. So I bought a replacement. The only trick is keeping them facing the direction you want them to face (the wind will rotate them) even if they are in pretty firm soil. I wish they had prongs to hold them in place in the ground. We tried pounding another metal pole next to them and attaching the two poles together with a water hose clamp (that metal band thingy with a bolt you tighten) but....it didn't work. So I took off a star for that lacking feature because I have to go outside and turn them back around to face us if we want to really enjoy them.

I have purchased two of these spinners and both of them have arrived in perfect condition assembled easily and lasted for years! I don’t know what other people are doing wrong or if they have higher expectations of this product than is realistic. I’m sure occasionally some people receive products that have been broken in transport.The flowers are made of a durable nylon material and the plastic parts are extremely sturdy and long lasting. After about two years the fabric on the petals begins to disintegrate from constant exposure to sun and weather (as most would expect). I suppose if you live in extreme climates it might not last as long. We are in Southern California.We just love this item and are purchasing our third one today!

I am on my third one. They won't hold up well in a very long sustained windy climate. Sun will fade the colors, dry it out a little and cause the fabric to rip. You probably want to take in in the winter, but I did not. It made it two seasons before it was destroyed. The thin plastic "bar" that all wheels rotate on is also flimsy and will most likely crack and have the wheels go flying off. After that happens, ?I just nail each separate wheel onto a tree and have some nice color wheels on the tree until they rip apart. When the wind hits it right, they spin so fast that the color looks awesome.

This item is beautiful, very sturdy it looks like it will last awhile. It is also very big! I'm 5 feet tall and it is half my size!Love it!. Very easy to assemble to!

Awesome large size almost a foot around so not ideal for a small patio, but great in a larger yard. Colors and quality are great I will be buying more for around the pool.!

This was a gift for the wife, and she loves it. Very nice size and vibrant colors. Almost makes you dizzy watching it when it gets spinning in a nice breeze. Only thing is that the stem is very bendy (should have been metal instead of flimsy plastic) and when its really windy it's kind of noisy.
