This was perfect for my shoes, I am a 7.5W, 8W, sometimes 8.5. If your shoes are 10.5 inches, you can fit them in and zip up the lid, if your shoes are 11 inches long, you will not be able to zip the lid but it could still be useable. I am going to buy more for my winter shoes as well. I was keeping ll of my shoes in their original boxes but I wanted something that reduced their footprint in my closet. This is nice because you can divide them by category like summer fancy, summer everyday comfort, and winter. In the slots I sometimes put one shoe, sometimes a pair if they didn't have a lot of heel or much support. In the slots I was able to fit in booties, heels, birkenstocks, etc. I could put a pair of espadrillas or a pair of small tennis shoes into one slot. I was even able to put in some platform sandals that are pretty tall but I had to put them into two slots. The slots are flexible so you can fit in many different shapes of shoes, although you may need to place your big and little shoes strategically.I liked this product better than products designed specifically for shoes. I plan on zipping up out of season shoes and putting them out of the way. The fabric is nice and matches closely enough with other organizers I have in my closet (I got grey). I didn't find the zipper to be too problematic although I did have a warning from the other reviews. You just have to make sure you pull the fabric down when you zip it up because it kind of curls under and you can't zip it up when it is curled under like that. But even if the zipper breaks it's not a huge deal for me although I'd like it to work. But all in all it's a quality product with a tiny zipper issue but it's still functional.This was nearly the only wine container I could find that was tall enough to accomodate my size shoes and I read the containers meant for shoes were a little buggy. I liked the way this looked better.Edit: I actually ended up buying more of these for general organization. I like the structure and look of the box. Organization alternatives would be like trunks or those plastic bins but I chose this over those because it is so lightweight and stackable and cheaper and more sensible than a bunch of trunks. It is easier to move your stuff around and you can put it on those useless top shelves in your closet or wherever you have some storage space. I move a lot and packing and unpacking is the bane of my existence so I've decided to "stay packed" with these boxes. Not for everything but I put all my purses, hiking and ski clothes, shoes obviously, and I am moving somewhere warm so I will put my sweaters in one too since I will only wear them on vacations. Love these boxes. I think they would be a great organizational alternative for anyone who is cursed to move constantly.

I have beautiful, oversized wine glasses that wouldn't fit in other storage cases. This fit perfectly. This is a quality case. Protects fragile/ delicate stemware.

I am happy with this purchase for the sturdiness, hard shell, and zipper closure. Others mentioned that it can be difficult to zip around the corners but I have no problem with that. I was looking for something strong, holding tall beer or wine glasses and closed storage box - I got exactly that!! You get what you pay for - I only wish that it could hold more slots because it is a pricey storage piece, but the box becomes heavy with what I put inside. I will be purchasing an additional box to store the remainder of glassware. The only feature that I wish this storage box would have is handles - it would make lifting and moving easier. Love the gray color as well.

This stemware chest is FABULOUS. I've had a really hard time finding a storage solution for my crystal wine glasses, which are quite oversized at 10.5" tall (Waterford Lismore Essence). This chest fits my stems perfectly - nice and snug. Having tried (and returned) several other storage chests, I can also say that I'm incredibly impressed with the quality of this one compared to the others. The soft-sided microfiber storage options simply can't compete with this one. I love that it is hard-sided, and the separators inside are really high quality, as well (not cardboard like some competitors). I'm so relieved to finally have found the perfect storage chest, where I know my crystal stemware will be stored safely for years to come.This product could be greatly improved by adding handles to the sides - but I'm still giving it 5 stars.

Just purchased this to transport the family crystal on a road trip from Northern to Southern California and needed something I could bank on for support and protection. I hesitated at the price point, but I'm glad I got it. It is sturdy and stackable. I packed everything with confidence, knowing it would be protected from cracks, chips, and other issues. The quality is very good. Some of the stitching is a little sloppy, but I'm pretty picky and notice details like that. The only issue I had was that each section is a little too small for two glasses and too big for one. I used packing paper and some creative puzzling to make sure everything fit, but some alternative grid options would have been helpful. I fit about 4 red wine goblets, 4 white wine/water, and 6 dessert glasses in, plus a few extras I could tuck in on top. So glad I didn't get the floppy, quilted storage offerings for this job! I love these and will happily store my mom's beautiful things for the next special occasion.

I have more than a few of these storage containers. I first purchased them to store tea tumblers and large mugs but then discovered that they are the perfect size to store large glass candles.

The box is light and strong, with plenty of space and height in each compartment for my biggest glasses (Riedel Oregon Pinot Noir). In this way, it was exactly what I was hoping to get. The zipper is cheap, and failed to work even once before splitting. However, I bought the box for closet storage, not moving around with me, so I don't care if it zips or not.

I purchased this storage for large fluted crystal glasses. The container works very well. It is heavy duty when compared to many of the other units I have purchased to protect crystal and china. The product is well made and I will definitely consider ordering this product again for any fragile oddly shaped items that need to be stored.
