These were a snap to put in. With a thin body tool I was able to pop out just lower the switch panel on my Tacoma with little effort. I didn't disconnect the plugs. After twisting the lights in the socket I ended up putting tape on my finger to lift them out. Even though only one light was intermittently going out, both were dark with carbon. I replaced both and the lights now match the brightness of the rest of the dash. To those that say these burn out quickly, I'm guessing you have over-voltage which burned out the originals as it would the new ones.

Super easy to install. Resolved the burnt out light issue I had been living with for almost 2 years.

Although it's for Toyota Tacoma, it has the same shape and the conector is the same size for the air conditioning heating control for my 2008 Toyota Yaris. I bought this one because it was cheaper than the original. I don't care if this one doesn't come with a green condom to cover the bulb. Seller also provides instruction to install it, and using a proper size flat head screwdriver makes the job easy. Don't use tweezers to remove/install, as shown in some youtube videos because you can break it, as I did with the OEM one I bought previously.

Basic, simple little lights (tiny little lights). Just pry out the control panel (carefully) and with a standard screwdriver remove the old light(s) and install the new… just a quarter turn and it’s in. I only had 1 that was burned out, but replaced both because if 1 went, the other one probably wasn’t too far behind. They are much brighter than the original lights, maybe because those were so old and dimming, or these are just brighter, not sure. Can’t say how long they will last, but for now they seem to work fine. Looks like these are from a local (for me) Texas company too, so that’s a nice bonus.

Good Quality bulb but mine arrived smashed due to Amazon shipping them in a plastic poly mailer bag.

Worked perfectly!! I got a pair because if you are going to go to the trouble of opening control panel, might as well replace both lights. I used a video from YouTube as reference. I saved old fixtures in case I needed them to go to junk yard if these did not work.

I can confirm that these lights fit in a 2nd gen toyota tacoma. Took all of 1 minute to install. The price is absurd in comparison to other light sizes/prices. Smallest lights I've ever seen. However they do work and if you do the install yourself, the money you save on what a garage would charge you, probably makes up for it. But still... Really over-priced for what they are. They probably cost the manufacturer 0.01 of a penny to make so the price tag on these makes little to no sense.

Work fine but overpriced. Looks the same as stock but for twice the price.
