The hooks are manufactured exactly as advertised. A little bit thicker than box store stuff and much better priced. Well made including the finish. No skimping here. They fit my pegboard just right although I've discovered a cool way to keep them from falling out when you remove your frequently used tools using a little grommet called Pegitz for 1/4 inch hooks. They have a little learning curve but once you get it, easy-peasy. I use a needle nose plier and very small flat screwdriver to help. You don't need them on every hook or paired hooks. They are better than the plastic snap in anchors that come with most provided hook sets. I've posted a pic of their packaging. They've also have a to and bottom divot built in to help keep you hook more level. Competing products don't have this feature. It's nice. So, in sum this pegboard hooks set ad is accurate and doesn't exaggerate. I'm a pegboard hook and organization nerd and have a zillion of them but I'm giving away most of them except these. I'd order these again.

Purchased this for the peg board in my shop. The pieces are sturdy and this set came with a good assortment. If I need more, I will plan on buying this set again.

The only thing I could say, is that it took awhile to put all the tips on the hangers. Other wise it is a very well built product.

I recently swapped out the old, thin, dingy brown pegboard for a black pegboard and this hook set looks great ! The price is certainly reasonable as well. I highly recommend this set.

I think this is an excellent product. The price is very reasonable for the top quality hooks which are smoothly finished, of good weight, solid, each hook matches its mate perfectly, and fit 1/4" peg holes with no wobble at all. There is a varied selection and enough hooks to last a lifetime. I priced out hooks at big box stores and these hooks are hands down better than any hooks that I have seen. Not only that, but buyiing hooks at a big box store piece by piece is much more expensive.

This is a decent assortment of hooks that seem sturdy and have a nice black finish but they are not extra thick diameter. These are advertised as .20 diameter but they’re less than that, slightly under 3/16â€. On metal pegboard ( Wall Control), they are very loose fitting, exactly what I was trying to avoid. The retaining clips help but I’m not overly optimistic that they will stay in place. They fit tighter on Masonite pegboard but are still loose and now you’re back to the paper pegboard that struggles to handle a lot of weight.I’ll probably have to try some pegboard locks to keep the hooks from falling out when you remove a tool, something that should not be necessarily with extra thick hooks. Really disappointed that this assortment is not what it is advertised to be.

Some hooks are thinner than others. Some hooks don't have the tab that keeps it from moving side to side. The metal wire lock won't lock into pegboard, pops out.

Advertised as 176 pieces but over half the “pieces†are just peg locks. False advertising if I ever seen it.
