I bought these because I do not have central air, just AC windows units. I wanted to put them in various rooms to see how evenly the temperature distributes in my house. The fact that they show humidity is just a added bonus.The display is not backlit, but it is very easy to read. They seem fairly accurate. when I had two in the same room next to each other, they showed the same temperature and humidity.If you just need a cheap thermometer for room temp, then I highly recommend them. The run on a single CR2032 battery. I have had mine active for a month now and they are still working great.

I was able to use this pack to monitor the temperature and humidity in my 2 plant cabinets and my bay window. Can hang on metal surfaces with the magnets on back or use the little kickstand to rest it on any surface. Small, unobtursive, accurate and oh so useful.

3rd one has a defective battery slot and unless you hold the battery won't work. Def cheap, which is expected for the price, but disappointed the 3rd one won't work properly. Wouldn't buy again.

Habe ich in jeden Raum meines Gartenbungalows einen reingehangen. So hat man bei den gelegentlichen Kontrollen im Winterhalbjahr immer den Überblick über das Raumklima und man weiß, ob irgendwelche Maßnahmen angeraten sind. Nützliches Teil, wenngleich ich sowieso immer Raumluftentfeuchter aufstelle. So sieht man aber, ob diese effektiv arbeiten und man hat in jedem Raum außerdem ein schickes Thermometer.
