I bought this rather expensive product to help with restoring my VERY RUSTY truck. I am very pleased with the performance and capability of how it can convert the rust into dust and release the stuck bolts from my rusty truck frame. These bolts had been in the wet for 23 years on salty roads, so there are no worse conditions to challenge this equipment. Some of the bolts were snapped off in the hole with two layers of 1/8" steel plate with a nut welded inside the second layer and that nut was rusted on to the snapped off bolt! Add to that a tight and limited access due to being inside the rear leaf spring arch, and near the gas tank, so this tool is a MUST HAVE for anyone trying not to blow themselves up with an open flame near the gas tank or burn some vital wiring or plastic parts. The tool will turn any exposed bolts red hot in about 30 seconds which softens the rust like magic. You may still need to weld a nut on the exposed end of the snapped off bolt to get a grip on what's available, and for that, I would recommend a MIG welder with some .035" wire to get a good bite for the nut to twist the stub out of the hole. The kit is furnished with two extra-long wire electrodes that can be bent into any needed shape for best access, and I have used them both! I would not have a chance of making any progress on this rusty truck without this induction heater at 1500 watts- packs quite a punch! Nice padded carrying case and very simple to use! Just DO IT!

Able to reach starter bolt and apply heat to undue nut. Not sure if really produces 1500 watts because no amps listed on machine. Limited instructions. Cord appers of cheap plastic. Threads required to thread bolt back and forth to clear burrs out.

Aside from its advertised use to free frozen fasteners, it includes sets of wires than can be shaped to most any purpose. I have used it to recycle 3D filament (in a metal extruder), solder joints, and thaw pipes. I highly recommend the use of a remote-sensing thermometer for these kinds of uses to avoid overheating.

So far only 2 out of 16 bolts I attempted today failed to come loose. Heat, PB Blast, back and forth, patience, success! 65 Thunderbird sitting 46 years.

It is my first Induction Heater. And it is really great! About 1100-1200W of real power measured by meter.Any bolt became red very quickly. I am very happy with it, and i hope that it is well built and will last me for years in my DIY garage projects.Recommend for everyone!
