This little lamp base is awesome! It’s the perfect mix of industrial and modern, with a nice gold finish that really adds some style to my desk. I love how it’s small but still feels super sturdy—no wobbling at all!The 6-foot cord gives me plenty of room to move it around, and the on/off switch on the cord is really handy. It fits standard E26/E27 bulbs, so I just popped in a cool Edison bulb, and it totally completes the look.Overall, this lamp base is simple, stylish, and works perfectly if you’re going for that industrial vibe. Bought this to light up vintage ceramic Christmas tree that did not have a light base. It fit perfect in the tree and made it easy to use a LED bulb so there was not as much heat in the tree.

Both the bonded current carrying electrode, and the current carrying electrode were damaged at the point the insulation was stripped for assembly. Not only was the conductor exposed, but most of the conductor had been cut away. It’s not worth returning. I’ll simply repair it, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone who isn’t an engineer buy this.If it was shorted when the device was plugged in, it could’ve produced a significant spark before it popped the breaker or fuse. If it was not shorted, in time, heat would’ve caused the insulation to burn and make a bad smell. Or worse. Garbage.

This was purchased to light a vintage ceramic Christmas tree as we do not have the original base. It worked great and lit up the tree perfectly.
