The missing fifth star is because there is no way to keep the bracelet snug. I've gifted these to every girl in my family to whom I give gifts. They all love them, so I bought one for myself, but there should be a locking mechanism to keep it snug as I find myself fidgeting with it a lot tightening it over and over again. So nice and priced perfectly though!
