I have a 2012 F150 XLT and used them to replace my existing tweeters in the A Pillars. They fit behind the existing mesh speaker screen. It was tight but luckily these have a ridged front and are pressed up against the existing mesh. I just needed to cut a small rectangle of metal and drill a couple holes in the metal so I could mount against the provided plastic speaker holder. I did not need to cut any of the trucks factory plastic, just my scrap piece of metal and screwed in the 2 factory holes. These matched well with the same Harmon Reference brand door speakers I just put in. I also used a crimp cap to connect the wires instead of soldering. Im not an expert but it took me around 2 hours. They provided around 3 or so brackets for different mounting. I could have removed the factory mesh and made the tweeters exposed thru with minor grinding, almost the perfect size, but wasnt sure I'd have enough room behind the tweeter in the a pillar to secure it well. The high pitched sounds definetly come thru clearer. For me, not sure if it was worth the effort for such a small change as the matching door speakers is where most of the sound comes thru. But feels good to have all matching speakers.

Big improvement over stock a-pillar tweeter. Stock was 8ohms and made in china. So just putting in a 3ohm helped brighten up the sound stage. Had a song I like that has some good vocals. With new tweets, I can hear the reverb in the vocals that I couldn't hear with stock. I took old tweeter out and dremmeled the stock location out about 1/8in all around. Installed tweeter in the threaded swivel mount. I installed the speaker by threding in the drimmeled out hole. The backing nut didn't fit due to the a pillar being too tight in the inside. So I wen't in behind the mounting threads and hot glued it in. Worked perfect and looks good imho. My truck has a GREEN and PURPLE/GREEN wire. Your Green wire should be - and your PURPLE/GREEN should be +.This was step one. I got 4 6x8's coming for the doors. Then I'd like to see what a double din high power HUD will do for these tweeters.They sound Warm, rich and crisp to my ears. YMMV

I had these tweeters professionally installed but they seem easy enough to do yourself if you’re handy like that . The quality is decent for the price . I’m hearing things in the music I never heard before very clear . They look good in my door looks like they came with the car you can see for yourself. They are better tweeters out there but they usually come way bigger and a lot more expensive. I’m very happy with these tweeters and would buy again .

These come with mounting hardware for a bunch of different installs. My install was harder because of the location but that was my choice. Over the tweets are loud and clear but not too bright with how I positioned them. Paired with infinity kappas in doors n rear deck along with 8" kappa subs everything blends well together now. I find excuses to get in my car so I can jam out 🤙

Overall I'm very satisfied with the quality of theses tweeters. Replaced the stock tweeters in a 2021 Honda Accord and they are a definite improvement. While I have heard better tweeters in the past I do think the price point vs quality will make most people who purchase these happy.

Purchased and installed in a 2016 F150 XLT with non Sony, 7 speaker system.I think it's a good product with great mounting options, just not sure if it made a huge difference in sound quality over the stock, for me. I'm not running them on an amp and they are a little bright for my taste. I had to fab a custom bracket due to trucks design, but install was easy. Solid red wire is the +. My biggest complaint or warning is the size of the online crossover. It's about the size of 2 - 9volt batteries stacked end on end. Also they give a long amount of wire, I didn't feel like cutting and re splicing so I wound it and ziptied it and shoved it down in my dash. Not sure if I would do it all over again, but I could see them being a major improvement to older speakers or if you like ice pick like high hats in your ears.

Looking on alot of other websites at this EXACT set of tweeters that cost nearly 50% MORE then on Amazon! Was shocked to find out when I received them that they were in fact, brand new! Thought I was not getting them in the original box or with all the installation stuff but it was! And I did! Highly recommend
