When I first got these, I opened the box. I spent $118 and almost felt regretful that these would not be good enough to warranty replacing my cheap $60 sony ones. The magnets were indeed a bit larger than the Sony's so I installed them anyway. In the morning on my way to work, I wasn't exactly blown away. I was thinking about what else I could have spent that $118 on. On my ride home from work, my mind was changed. Songs I thought I've gotten every detail out of, I was still able to hear more depth and sound stage than ever before. I have them hooked up to an amp for anyone reading. These things are the bees knees! I don't believe you can really get better sound without spending hundreds more. I would highly recommend the reference series. I also have 6.5" reference speakers in my front door. These went on the deck. I also have four tweeters from CT sounds, 2" in the front, 3.5" in the rear middle seat. I could not get out of my car once I got home. I couldn't wait to listen to the next song.

I installed these in the rear doors of my 2002 Savana van and am driving them with a Power Acoustic EG4-1000. These are 3 ohm speakers and that amp is 2 ohm stable, so I am pushing 95w to each door speaker.I love these speakers! They are loud, and clear, with great frequency response. I am particularly fond of 6c9's becuase they tend to have great low end frequency reproduction but also some punch to them, and these speakers do, too! The clarity in lows, mids, and highs is clean and clear. This is the 5th set of speakers I have tried and I am happy that I did.Did I mention these sound clean and CLEAR! I would not hesitate to buy these again!FYI, you never know who is leaving a review, or what their experience/knowledge is. While I'm not audiophile, competitor, or install shop, I've played with a lot of speakers and equipment in my lifetime. If your amp can handle 3ohms, and you can push 100w to each of these speakers, then you will like these speakers.

Excellent speakers very pleased Infinity 6 x 9 3 way Speakers are very clear no distortion have extra bass. So much better than factory speakers . I have a 2012 ram 2500 with alpine system these infinity 6 x 9‘s are a perfect fit. I removed the factory 6 x 9 speaker from the rear door with the factory screws. “ This speaker is supposed to be an alpine speaker but it is not,it is made in China.†Then I placed the infinity 6 x 9 speaker on the rear door the holes where the screws go almost perfectly lineup.â€Note if you use the factory screws you will have a hard time†but what I did, I used 1 inch dry wall screws then tilted The screws a little and sweet almost a perfect fit. Try this and you will be amazed how easy it Can be... do not forget to buy the easy adapters they will make replacement even quicker. You will need the Metra 72-6514 speaker harness . I really hope this review helps all you ram people out there... :)I wish I could’ve read this when I was getting the upgrade togetherThank YouGod Bless :)

This review is for Ref-9613ix infinity 6x9 3 way.Replaced a pair of much higher priced JL audio component speakers with these, and these things rock! Clear and crisp highs, decent mids. Great 3 way speaker for the $69 I paid, it was just what my system needed I’m running them on 4 channel amp, with these 3 ways in my front doors and JL audio 6.5 co axial in the rear doors and 2 12†subs under my seat on a separate amp. These infinity reference 6x9 3 way speakers sound great! They are the cheapest speakers in my trucks’ sound system but the clairity is comparable to much higher priced speakers. Highly recommended! Glad I purchased. Perfect fit in my 2014 GMC Sierra crew can truck

Note: installed in 2011 Ram 1500 - tradesman std cap, door and rear positions. The fitment up front required a custom 1/8-1/4" spacing job, but fit into the door afterwards with no issue. The magnet does ride on the window guide, I placed some sound deadening material between the magnet and guide. Rear fitment is direct replace. Results are staggering. Sound quality is amazing, I am driving them from a kenwood deck and Kenwood 4 channel amp (2 channels used for component speakers, 2 channels bridged for kappa sub).

I have installed it in my MARUTI Zen VXi 2003 coupled with JBL 605c Components in front and as all four doors are damped. The sound it produces is mind boggling. I power it from the system power only and its handling it fine. I have sony ax5000 for the head unit. And for the sub its a custom sealed enclosure with Pioneer Champion Series Dual Coil powered from JBL 2 channel Amplifier "Bridged". Over all the sound it produces is OP considering the size of the car. All the low-mid-high are covered excellent.

These speakers are best.. No one in comparison with such a branding and master piece built quality... I am using these speakers from last 2 months they are working well. ..Go for them without any dought..
