I purchased this for my partner as part of a package of Christmas gifts. I bought him a high quality outdoor pizza oven that uses either propane gas or wood. Because the oven requires super high temperatures (900°) to cook pizzas & other foods, it's imperative to know exactly what the internal oven temperature is. Although we are waiting for warmer weather to hook up the pizza oven, we needed this handy infrared gun to check our kitchen oven & determine it wasn't reaching the necessary temperatures for my baking. This confirmed our oven was dead.My partner manages a manufacturing plant & has used these on the job & is very impressed with how accurate & easy to use this particular device is & the multitude of uses for it.I can't wait to use it to make some amazing pizzas I found in the cookbook I bought him as part of his holiday gifts.

It supports Fahrenheit and Celsius, which is very suitable for countries that use Celsius. It is also very simple to operate. It starts working when you press a button. Once you let go, it will measure the temperature fixedly. If you don't use it for a long time, it will automatically sleep, which is more energy-saving. It can help me test the temperature of electronic products very well, but it is indeed inaccurate when testing the human body. I don't know why.Another thing I think is not good about it is that it cannot be charged. You can only replace the 9V battery, which adds an extra expense.

it's quite easy to use and instructions are helpful. it's accurate enough that i trust what it says. there are some exceptions, depends on the surface you are checking. just be aware, the instructions tell you and you can just look online.it feels sturdy, it's not gonna just fall apart. it does use a normal 9v battery, can't say how fast it will drain, still on the first one.the screen is easy to read, it has lasers to help you keep the thermometer at the correct distance.yea overall great product, got nothing bad to say.

Great infrared thermometer. I wish it was rechargeable instead of requiring a traditional 9V battery, but it works well and is a great upgrade from my old one. I love the display which is easy to see in most environments. Very accurate and reads immediately. Has both units of temperature and multiple settings for high temp and temp lock etc.. Pretty much has the standard options including a temperature probe and priced at $33 at the time of this review it's right in the middle of the competition. I don't think you'll go wrong with this unit but if you want one that's rechargeable or has a specific option then you can shop around.

This infrared thermometer is a great value for the money. It offers a lot of features and functionality for a very reasonable price. It even comes with a battery which saved me the trouble of buying one. I have compared it to similar products on the market, and it definitely offers a good bang for your buck.

This worked really well for cooking food indoors and out. No problem using and it's easy to read.
