replaced my old filter. At the price why not get a new one. I didnt see why I would want to try and clean my old filter when you cant remove all the dirt and have to wait for it to dry out. 30 mins and the new one was installed on my 06 chevy malibu maxx. I have an injen cold air that is actually for an 06 pontiac G6 V-6. The motors are the same but I did make a bracket to hold up the air intake due to there is a bracket spot my car doesnt have. It works great and have me a lil better MPG. My car is not lowered, I want to add because of the placement of the cold air. Was worried about water getting sucked up but I live in Cali so I make sure I stay out of deep water puddles.

Quality filter, the only problem I had was there was some residue from the manufacturing process left in the filter which messed with my mass air flow sensor

Hey guys,If your looking at this intake cooler I'm guessing yours must be pretty dirty or burned out lol. Well I recommend you stop looking and buy this one. This thing feels and sounds pretty bad as. My car feels completely different I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

My car was acting up and I thought that if I replaced the filter for the intake it would fix it. Still have the problem but now I have a new shiny filter.
