Works great and feels like good quality. The insulating sleeves are a must when connecting to Chevy small block starters (crowded space and possibility of arcing).

This works as advertised. It lets me run the starter while standing beside my motor without having to step away or have a buddy turn the key. I used it to check engine compression and to set the timing.I wasn't sure where to attach the electric clamps, but a helpful review from July 2023 had a nice photo of where to attach them to my Mercury 90 Hp 2 stroke outboard. Thank you Jeremy Hall.Quality seems decent, probably not heavy enough for a commercial mechanic shop, but good enough for an amateur mechanic like me who will only use occasionally.It was very inexpensive, and i consider it good value for the money. I am pleased and I recommend this item.

While the clamps were plenty strong, they were slightly hard to use in a cramped space and the rubber liner slips around a lot making it difficult to attach.

Work alone? This is a must. See what’s going under during a crank. A must for compression checks, carb work, spark testing and much more. How did I operate without it?

Easy to use and worked as it should.Cord is long enough to use from opposite side of engine bay and keep it away from the fan and belts and pulleys.
