I used these fluted knobs to hold down a cover on a 3 point finish mower being pulled by a tractor to mow 20 acres each week. So far they have held up in the weather and taken the beaten of the rough ground. They are well built with a soft rubber like plastic, nice diameter which makes them easy to remove/install, and the nut is a good quality zinc coating that seem to hold up against the elements. I would definitely purchase these again if needed and highly recommend, as the price if very fair.

Made of a black plastic that is some what soft easy to grip with no slip .good steel thread insert. Have not had a failure in the 40 i have used in production .

Soft grip and plenty of material for a good hand tightening. Used for a band saw resaw jig; worked great!

As noted by other reviewers, these are over-sized knobs that have a soft-rubber feel to them. Both the larger size and rubbery feel make them easier to work with. I'm afraid someone along delivery chain helped themselves to 4 of the 10 knobs I was supposed to get. But I doubt that's the seller's fault. And these are of such quality that it's worth keeping the 6 knobs that I did get.

I used these in heavy t-track for an adjustable height table I built for my drill press. They work as expected and are quite comfortable to turn tight...and non-slip.
