I already have an extending mirror for diy work, but a mirror with a mag-base is really handy when you need a "third hand" to hold it.The mirror is optically very good. The articulating arms also works well, but can separate at the joints. Don't fret if this happens as they can be snapped back together with a little effort.My only criticism is that the magnet is too strong, much stronger than is required to support its own weight. It simply takes too much effort to lift it when it's fully attached to a flat surface. I needed a screwdriver to pry it off the side of my tool chest. I'll be adding a bit of thin cardboard to fully cover the bottom of the magnet.
