This product works great for my recording needs right out of the box.There are no settings to adjust or anything.I would in the future make it a little more firm with how it grips the side of the x3 camera itself.While it does attach pretty good without falling off... I am always a little worried about dropping the part off the side of the camera without noticing. It has not happened yet but is always a high possibility the way it attaches itself.

Would highly recommend this product if anybody is looking for a mic adapter for insta360.I’ve been using this with no complaints would definitely buy again

This connector is what I was looking for. Quality audio is amazing, I can record my Dj set or record music from my studio in high definition now. Just buy it!

I use this in a small airplane while flying to capture the audio from my headset. It works well and the audio is pretty decent. Glad to have it.

AFAIK, Insta360 X3 is the only 360 camera able to record airplane intercom audio, and you'll need this adapter (or equivalent) to do that. There may be other solutions, but this definitely works. Remove the waterproof cover on the camera plug, stick this in and it sticks out the side. Strap the cable down to the base and it doesn't seem to show up in the video, at least not that I've noticed. I use an NFlightCam adaptor cable for the 3.5mm tap into the standard headset plug. There may be cheaper solutions, but these work fine, no adjustments to anything needed, just plug in and the audio's there. Don't use selfie sticks or external mics, so can't speak to those.I just leave it on all the time even though I remove the camera after every flight for download and recharging. The accessory rubber lens cover fits around it, and there's a USB-C plug on it for dowloading and recharging.

Lo compré porque tenÃa ganas de comprar un micrófono para la X3, y me he pillado unos inalámbricos, la verdad es que en los videos 360, lo que es el adaptador de micrófono no se nota en absoluto, pero el receptor inalámbrico se puede llegar a apreciar (aunque solo para ojos muy avispados). aun asÃ, me parece una compra para hacer evolucionar tu cámara un poco más.
