I had to replace my last ANL fuse holder which had the clear plastic cover and screws break off after 19-20 years? This feels like solid quality. Had it in my car for 3 years and still looks new and works great.I've had an ANL fuse since only a few months after I got my first set of subs. The regular 40 amp fuses would blow every time I played Bia Bia by Lil Jon. I go with like 120 amp now, and never popped a fuse again.

This unit is compact yet designed well . I had a little issue with the 1 "Ott" cable as it was too large even with the insert removed and had to trim off some of the copper strand to use. Only recommendation would be to have a color where the upper and lower cover goes to make sure that there are no loose strands of wire where the halves meet that could be sticking out and ground to the floor if metal

I ordered a fuse holder and expected one like the photo (black base and clear cover) which is really too nice to put in the engine bay.What I recieved was a clear base and cover with all gold components that is definitely not going to be installed anywhere that it's not visible to see. Probably just going to put it on my desk to look at, very nice component.

Is it relatively inexpensive? Yes.Does it work/hold a fuse? Yes.Will it fit 1/0 & 2 AWG? Yes.Now that is out of the way, I really wish that the small Phillips head screws were captive (doesn't come all the way out of the cover). They are an absolute pain in the but to hunt down when you drop one in the engine compartment. Other than that, don't forget your dielectric grease during install and everything should work out pretty well.

This unit uses the standard fuses. It works great going from 1/0 to #4 wire. The cover screws down and not just snap in place, which I really like and does not leave much exposed to get shorted or allow for junk to collect. The base is very sturdy compared to other units I have tried that broke when screwing down. I also like that the mounting screws are on the outside on all 4 corners. No chance of a screw coming loose inside and shorting to ground.

When my search began for a ANL 150A fuse holder many of the reviews I read discussed the fact that the covers did not have screws to hold them in place, WELL, I kept searching and I found this one that does have screws to hold on the cover and not only that the design and look of this product is excellent. An extra bonus it INCLUDED the fuse.I used 4AWG and it was so easy to install. If you looking for one of these for your project, LOOK NO FURTHER.

Using this 150A fuse on a Caravan PV system between the battery and a 1,500W inverter (125A).Visually, I'd go as far as saying it's a 'sexy' fuse. With gold plating and ergonomically shaped it's a really good looking unit.As for the nuts and bolts side of things, it looks more than capable of holding everything tightly in place and the build quality overall is outstanding.So, long as the company don't get greedy and start hiking the price up, I'll happily continue to buy these for all future high A fuses.

Pas fait pour un fil d'aluminium calibre 1.0 awg , le bloc à complètement fondue due au mauvais contact de la vis de serrage qui passe au travers du fil d'aluminium trop soupleJ'ai racheté un bloc avec boulons pour terminaux écraser par des pinces pour terminaux sur fils d'alluminium 1.0 awg (dans mon cas)
