The Instant Pot red sling is an essential accessory for me. Durable. In use daily for four years with no sign of wear. Perhaps always setting it on the I.P. trivet to keep it away from direct heat helps. I use it for the pot-in-pot method with a titanium covered 2 liter back pack pot. No burned fingers when lifting from a steaming pot. Covered P-i-P method allows for dry roasting and wherever condensed steam would otherwise dilute sauces and seasonings. No stuck-on food on the bottom of the main pot makes for very easy fast clean up. The sling is also essential for p.c. a whole chicken.

I prefer using silicone accessories simply because they are easy to handle and don't feel hot to the touch. The handles snap together making it flat for storage. The openings are good for holding eggs and other similar size foods.

Bye bye making slings out of tin foil strips! Love how much easier things are using my pot, and I consider myself to be an Instant Pot 'power user'. As this completely covers bottom of pot, going right up to walls of pot, throwing a bowl of potato chunks directly on it works great, the spaces in this silicon trivet are small enough that potato pieces don't fall through, and lifting them out in one motion with the handles on this thing is a piece of cake. Good buy. And this was on sale for less than competitor brands when I bought it.

I purchased this for my 8 at. Instant pot because I liked the way it had a handle that could clip together. I had been using the stainless steel type that fold up and they are hard to clean and not easy to remove since they are hot to touch, plus the part in the middle can make it hard to fit things in it which does not happen with the sling. I made a delicious pot roast placing it on top of the onions that were sautéed and then put the browned meat and two foil packets that had carrots and potatoes and it was easy to snap Tahoe handles shut! So nice when it was done to hold a plate next to my IP and just lift it out and place it on the plate. None of the tender meat fell of it either! It was easy to open up and remove my veggie packets, but care was needed trying to slide the meat off onto a dinner plate. I should have used a cutting board or larger plate to make it easier, but I was able to do it without making a mess. I highly recommend adding this to you cooking tools! clean up was very easy too, I thought it might be hard to clean the openings but it was very easy to clean.

Should of been using this in my instapot since the beginning...works like it should to keep my food off the bottom and in the juices...easy to clean up also...Get it ...it's worth the little money to make it easier to cook and clean.

I bought this for my instant pot for when im doing potatoes as the trivet that came with my instant pot wasn’t so good I ended up dropping most of them where as this oxo one is brilliant easy to use and clean and I never dropped my potatoes 😃would highly recommend

Love this. It’s perfect for when you cook something pot-in-pot in your Instant Pot. Never sticks or gets in the way. I’ve used it as a trivet too, for when I take the big pot out. I know some slings that button together can come apart and cause disaster, but this is all one piece so it's safe. Washed and used many times and it’s still like brand new. Definitely recommend.
