This product was easy to use. Be sure to pair it with regular batting, however. It’s great for protecting our new quartz countertops from hot dishes. I highly recommend!

At first, I thought that this product could be used as the part that touches a hot surface (as in a potholder), but it's not, it melts - my error. I'm sure it will be fine as a middle layer that doesn't touch a very hot surface, we will see.

I bought these to make pot holders and it works so well. It really keeps the heat of the pot from the table. Great to use for anything needed to insulate heat or cold or keep things from transferring heat. You can get it cheaper at Hobby Lobby when they have fabric on sale, but otherwise this is the best price.

The Insul-Bright does exactly as promised. I've used this product before when making pot holders. It protects one from temperature sensitive items such as removing a casserole from an oven. It also ideal for making hot pads and placemats and it is machine washable. I would highly recommend using this product for those who love to sew and enjoy making gifts for others.
