I'm new to screen printing, so the problem may be with my technique. However, the rubber blade is so thick and blunt that it has no flexibility when angled during the ink application. I only have a larger Speedball plastic squeegee for reference. I purchased the smallest squeegee for an 8x10" frame and was unable to use the full length of the screen when I ran into the frame with the handle. The rubber blade is 1/4" thick and approximately 3/4" in depth from the handle to the scraping edge. It is definitely sturdy but did not meet my needs.

If you have a small screen, buy a smaller one. This is 13" long - good for big screens. Quick to wash and dries quickly.
