I bought this as a quick get around for a pressure transmitter that came with no other way of re-ranging it. I now use it for setting up all my HART instruments.

The modem works. I used it with Pactware. Make sure you install the driver included. Need to set up Pactware for 3rd party communicator. Need to use correct com port, mine showed Yokogawa modem.Now the software that's included , I did not like it and could not get to work for what I needed. I'm sure it works ok for basic HART functions , but not detailed setup. That's why I gave it 4 vs 5 starts.

Modem came quickly and worked with PACTware but not E&H Device Care. It worked as advertised and at its price point is a value add. I have not tried all its functionality power device, Wifi etc but for my application that not required.

Very inexpensive but effective way of communicating with Hart enabled devices. Had a little issue with included software but tech support quickly corrected that problem.

I HAVE USED THIS MODEM WITH SEVERAL DIFFRENT SOFTWARES PACTWARE AND RADARMASTER WORKS GREAT, Worked as advertised with software, Posted a picture of address to english program, have to send an email to address in program to recieve an activation code for software, that didnt come on blank disk, we will see if it works and how long it takes to get.
