Purchased for an entry level, 1080p PC. Very solid performance for the price (I purchased it on sale for $64.00). Although the stock cooler is able to adequately cool the CPU, I would like to see the thermals around 5 degrees C lower than they are during intense workloads. My CPU gets around 75 degrees during heavy gaming. No stuttering issues or limitations for my purposes, a great deal for the sale. Otherwise, for the typical asking price I’d either go for the i3-12100f or i5-12400f. Good luck and happy hunting.

This is a great choice for a mid budget gaming machine. It has no built in graphics support, so you will need a graphics card. But if your building a gaming rig, you would need a graphics card anyway. The included fan works great and is dead silent. The fan has thermal paste pre-applied, so no guesswork required. Would definitely recommend.

This is a solid CPU. It definitely has upgraded my pc's performance for multitasking and gaming. It does come with a cpu fan, but buying a separate cpu fan would be better because the cpu fan this comes with is less efficient and extremely loud.

Not bad for a 4 core! Speed is decent. Played with POE at highest settings. No problems playing battlefield V in ultra settings. Easy to install with a cool looking heatsink though I didnt use it.

this bad boy can run at full utlization at the maximum 4.30GHz constantly and never exceed 80 celsius with just the included intel cooler! despite having only 4 cores and 8 threads, this baby out-performs nearly every other cpus (yes, that includes those 16-core amd cpus). not to mention the crazy low price for such high performance! you'd have to be insane to not buy this!! 11/10, completely recommend.
