Our cat loves these, but he refused to say anything when I asked him what he liked about them. He did immediately chase after one, while it wasn't even on, so that was probably a good answer.These have some interesting logic built in, and they last a good length per charge given the size of the batteries which are tiny but rechargeable with USB-C connectors under the silicone shell. Generally these will get themselves out of being stuck (wooden floors for us) somehow, it's fairly impressive. They do occasionally vanish until a search part can look under the furniture, but the cat will sometimes bring them to us in his mouth when they are missing as if to say, "Look, I had to get it myself. Do your job and entertain me human."The ONLY reason I'm taking one star away is that these particular units sometimes pop out of the plastic "U" shell which means they no longer have traction and the square side of the ball just spins. I have other brands that don't do that, but these happen to be more colorful and the cat seems to prefer these to the others.I know some people have had the plastic snap, or are unsatisfied with the battery life, but given how small the battery is and how much force these zip around with I think that's to be expected. These have NOT failed, but I have had a different one that shook off the battery wires inside and needed a quick solder job (that was a different brand and slightly different design).I think these are great toys.Because these occasionally pop out of the frame and spin, I give this product 4/5 stars. The cat gives it 4/5 paws, but only because he has to come get us to rescue them occasionally! (And yes, he stops eating to chase after it if he hears one of these spin up).

This thing is loud, runs into walls hard, knocks itself off its track and is super annoying. The cat likes it at least.

Poor instructions. We can't use the toy with our cats because we can't find a power button. The instructions on the box are confusing.
