After reading the negative reviews, I was a little hesitant to get this. We've had this type of track ball in years past and for a while at least, they're a big hit with our cats. We got this one, and our new kitten loves it!It came with 2 heavy balls, they're not light weight ping pong balls. No catnip was included (which wasn't necessary anyway). The balls are heavy and roll well and are actually a little hard to remove from the track. You save one in case the first one gets lost. I don't think that will happen, the one left in the track is not going anywhere.Our older cats, who haven't seen one of these in 6 years, play with it, too.So, it's a sturdy, heavy plastic (we got the lavender), the balls are heavy and almost lock into the track, the scratching pad is standard size, easy to find replacements. And our kitten loves it.Tip: put it away for a few days so your kitties don't get bored. We swap out toys.

Larger than I expected. Both of my cats love playing with it. I can hear them during the night clacking the balls together. I definitely recommend.

Exactly as described. Plastic feels nice and hardy, not thin. The balls in the track are also a little heavier so I feel like they should last a while too if my toddler doesn't try to yank them out 🤣

Our cats love to play with this toy. Glad it has two balls instead of one like our last one had. Keeps them busy and they love to play with it every day.

This was a replacement for my cat's current toy. The old one is over 20 years old & the plastic brittle & cracked, but my cat still plays with it occasionally. I feel certain the new toy has the same durability, & I wanted to love it, but it was missing the catnip, so I returned it.

This was a Christmas gift for my boy and he loves it! He plays with the balls and really enjoys scratching on the scratching pad. A cat can never have too many scratching pads!

This is a solidly made unit. The two white balls fit well inside the track and do not come out. Our cats really enjoy it. I will say the solidity of the balls cause them to make some noise when they bang together, so this toy would not be great near your bedroom.

This toy is highly recommended for kittens. Adult cats won't like it too much unless your cat grew up with one like my one male cat did. He loves it still; playing with one since about a month old. Reminds him of things that are part of his routine and life. I had a previous toy like this but the ball was more weighted and easier to pull out; losing that ball. This toy has lighter weight balls but they still spin around like the other one. Having two balls actually makes it more fun for him and they make pool table ball cracking sounds when touching which amuses him even more than just 1 ball. I'd like to order 2 more balls actually for my other toy which lost the one. 5 Stars!
