I decided to buy a non expensive ac gauge/hose, to keep my own instead of buying and returning at autozone. Now I only buy can for under $20 instead of 45/65 dollars. This works well,Easy to use and accurate reading.

Waited to use this until I had time to properly test other AC system components and found that the hose leaks when the trigger is partially pressed (can see the hose deformation in the pics). Awful design, one star.

The AC on my Subaru Outback quit during a heat wave... not fun! This gauge and hose kit was easy to use, and got my AC working again!

I USUALLY USE THE SCREW VALVE TYPE RECHARGE UNIT, BUT THEY WERE MADE REALLY FLIMSY THIS YEAR. I SWITCHED TO THIS TRIGGER TYPE AND IT WORKED WELL WITHOUT GAS LEAKAGE OR LOSS. I LIKED THE TRIGGER CONTROL AS IT ALLOWS FOR PAUSES AND FINE ADJUSTMENTS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FOR USE ON DIY SMALL JOBS. IT USES RESEALABLE CANS ONLY (NEW STYLE). A 12 OZ CAN OF SUPERTECH AT WALMART WORKED GREAT. AC IS NICE AND COLD. START WITH AN 8OZ RECHARGE THEN CHECK SYSTEM. YOU CAN SAVE THE REST BECAUSE THE CAN RESEALS ITSELF NOW.

This product was so easy to use! It took me maybe 15 minutes to replenish the A/C system. Very simple!
