Recommend buying a more powerful pump and adapter valve and tres. The pump designed for this pool uses the filter included but does not have enough suction for a skimmer.

I love this pool. My dogs and I get in and cool off. I've had a few friends over for drinks and we bobb around and enjoy it. There were no holes in it, the poles look like they'll last longer than the other one I had, which did last about 3 years but the rust got to them. It's perfect in the backyard in Florida at the end of the day to relax. It's under a lot of trees so I need to get a vacuum! I've also hooked up the sand/salt filter from Intex which helps a lot. Love this pool!

I’ve had a couple of the Intex soft sided pools in the past. This year I wanted one with the support frame just because of the higher winds we get in our new location. The only thing was that it didn’t come with a pump! Because we’ve had problems in the past with the pumps that came with the pools being too small (algae), I bought one for a larger size pool and adapted the hose size. So far, so good.
