The company who sold the pool through Amazon required a signature and I had some worry about negotiating the delivery but it was smooth and the people from the delivering company were kind - it was very easy. The pool was easy to set up, it went together in about an hour. The pump is adequate for the pool size. It’s a great depth and is holding up to my tween and teen kids’ fun. Worth the money.

great size for space challenged backyards or hillside dwellers. just about the coolest thing for a summertime quality of life improvement. fairly easy to set up too but call a friend or two over to help and have some beer handy. can get overwhelming with all the parts everywhere so it's nice to have a second set of eyes and someone to bounce directions with. i upgraded the pump/filter to the Intex sand filter (and also the saline generator). unless this is going to be a one-time quick summer use thing, don't even bother with the pump that is included, it's not sufficient. the intake strainer and return are the smaller sized 1.25" type so you might need to buy adapters to upgrade to the 1.5" proper threaded sort. we are all enjoying this pool!Update: I added a skimmer. Great addition and easy to do. Keeps the pool super clean. I also uploaded some pictures to show the footings we put under the poles on the decomposed granite. The pool is still up in December. I'm torn whether to take it down or not.

First impression was bad as the shipping Co. brought a pretty banged up box, but checking the contents looked good. I finally put it together and it took four hours with help. Found two of the metal tubes with dented ends (probably from the delivery) but it didn't interfere with the assembly. Discarded the ladder, too flimsy, and also replaced the pump and filter with a much better one from Intex. Everything seems good except for a pinhole leak on one side, probably manufacturing defect. I have to go out and buy vinyl cement because the patch kit doesn't bring it

For the last two years, I've purchased the 10 foot round easy set up pool and my kids and I have loved it. This year I decided to go bigger eith the 16ft x 8ft and do a tiki theme. It turned out perfect! The pool is easy to set up if you have two people... do not attempt the set it up on your own... trust me, you'll want to send the whole thing back! Make sure you watch the dvd that comes with it, give yourself plenty of time, and have a steady supply of alcohol! Overall, this pool is very sturdy and perfect for a small space. I'm super happy with this purchase and love my backyard oasis!

We were surprised how easy this pool was to set up. We're not very handy, so I expected the worst, but the directions were clear and easy to follow. The hardest part was setting up the filter, especially because one of the hoses had multiple punctures in it. I called In the Swim customer service for a replacement hose, but after being put on hold and transferred multiple times, I never got anywhere. I was told someone would reach out to me via email, but so far, no one has. So, the pool is great, but I can't vouch for the customer service/support.

While I don't think the setup was as easy as others have described, overall we are very happy with this pool. It took about 2.5 hours to get it set up and probably about 6-8 hours to fill with water. We are using the filter system that came with the pool and it seems to be working fine, although we may eventually upgrade as others have recommended. The filters need to be changed often - every 10-14 days, depending on use, so it's a good idea to buy extra Type A filters with the pool purchase. We also bought the seat that you can attach to the sides and that has been great.

I spent considerable time and money to properly preparing a solid and level base to set the pool onto. started filling it w/water. at 3-4 inches the seams started leaking. even tho i made sure the side walls from ground to water fill line did not exceed 35". SO, NOT TO PUT UNDO STRESS ON THE SEAMS... tried to return it to seller... "no go" their comment was "its a warranty issue once signed for at time of delivery". SO..... contacted INTEX " prepare your self for Asian w/broken English" filed a claim w/Intex YOU NEED PICTURES OF PROOF OF PURCHASE AND OF POOL..... so, we will see what happens. ALSO, WARNING!!!! Intex says you have 15days after you purchase this item to file your claim. "SAYS SO RIGHT ON THE CLAIM FORM" BUT, THE WARRANTY SAYS 90DAYS????WILL UPDATE ON WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE INTEX CLAIM ... ALSO, THE LINER HAS ALOT OF SEAMS. ALMOST LIKE PIECED TOGETHER... The liner should be only 5 pieces of liner w/corner seams. thats 12 seams. mine has 24 seams... UPDATE:6/14/2017- 5 days after filing my claim with Intex I called them today. here they've been waiting for me to send in my cutout sections of the pool liner " when I originally called customer service nobody there ever informed me I had to do that" so, I have to go cut the s*** out of the liner in chunks. and pay for shipping from Ohio to California $$$$$$ they told me today once they receive it it may take between 7 and 12 days After processing for my new liner to be shipped. I was also informed that of the second liner is also damaged the whole liner must be shipped back to California at a cost to me of over $100. so I'm stuck with this piece of s*** and over $1,400 in the hole all cost including. never buy an Intex product ever ever ever

The reason(s) I'm giving such a poor rating are as follows....1. Ordered the pool and it took almost 2.5 weeks to get here, when it was supposed to be here in 5-7 business days.2. Opened package when it finally got warm enough to put the pool up and it took longer to set up than 30-90 minutes. Took 3hrs to do it.3. As I'm filling it up there I noticed a hole in it about 2.5ft up on the side. I talk/text AMAZON and they suggest that I either take it down and ship it back to them (at my cost), or they could give me a monetary compensation. THEY INSULT ME AND GAVE ME $10 BACK!! ON A $600 POOL!?!?
