What a great airbed for a kid! The size is perfect for my 7-year-old daughter, with more room for growing. One side of the mattress and one side of the pillow is flocked, which feels softer like a real mattress and less like a pool toy. The airbed stays inflated and does not lose air, even over several days. My daughter seems to think it's pretty comfortable.We use this mattress when we have many guests staying, and also plan to take it on vacation.Because it is not full size, it can fit in spaces where a large airbed could not. It's also pretty fun to play with, and my daughter likes to pretend to go camping in her room, or pretend the mattress is a raft. It's pretty small when deflated and can be easily stored when not in use.While this airbed doesn't have many negatives, there are a few things to note. The inflatable pillow it comes with is not very comfortable, and your child may need a real pillow. The inflatable pillow does make a cute airbed for a doll or stuffed animal, however. Also, this airbed doesn't fit any standard sheets. We use twin sheets and tuck the excess under the foot of the airbed.Overall, this is a very cute airbed!

Sturdier and holds more weight than expected. My 6yr old nephew, his auntie, and 2 uncles have slept on this and it's held up with no issues and no deflation at night. The guys are roughly 150lb and they said they slept fine on it. The nozzle is basically like those on a beach ball or pool toy but I attached the hose from my nebulizer (asthma) machine and it inflated in a cinch. Deflation took a bit longer than expected but not too much of a pain. worth it.

This is hard to inflate, just like other reviewers say, because it doesn't have a regular airbed big opening. It just have a small opening like on regular inflatable toys. So, takes forever to pump it up. I find that if you shove the pump nozzle in there as hard as you can to open up the valve as much as possible, then it inflates fairly fast. Once it inflates, it works fine as a airbed, and the added pillow is nice. I took off one star for not having a normal big airbed valve.I bought this for my 18 month old to use as a crib from Disney World. to fence him in, I got the Ozark Trail Kids Camping Tent $15 from Walmart. What's special about that tent? Nothing, except that it's 3'x5', meaning that it is the same size as the bed! So the tent and the airbed together will work like crib so that the baby can't get out or fall out of bed. See my picture. I cut some holes in the tent so that the baby can see out -- the tent doesn't have much mesh. It's benefit, however, is that it is extremely small and light weight. See the black sack next to the baby? That's the sack that holds the whole tent! The tent weighs a pound is all. It is the smallest tent I've ever seen. The airbed is 4 pounds, so together they are 5 pounds total! Not bad for carrying on the airplane.Hotels let you borrow playpens as cribs, which are OK when babies are young. Now my baby is too big for the playpen (he's average in weight and height), plus the playpen bottom is hard and baby will cry all night to be sleeping on that hard surface. This way, baby is nice and comfortable and secure, plus I have him practice sleeping in the tent and airbed before our trip to make sure that he is happy with the arrangement.Hey, camping companies out there, will you please make a tent-airbed combination for older babies to use as portable cribs so that I don't have to make my own? And when you do, please add more mesh to the tent so that the baby can see out and I don't have to cut holes (so crude!). Be sure to use a regular airbed valve, and keep the valve near the door of the tent for easy access to refill air. Thanks!Remember, your baby need to be older than a year to use airbeds, to avoid SIDS.Update later in the day: after I wrote the above review, I put the baby in the tent for a nap. He didn't make a peep, just fell nicely asleep and slept for 2 hours, right through all the talking and piano playing of the rest of the family in the living room. The tent kept him nicely on the airbed. Then later in the day, I put the baby in again so that I could take a 20 minute nap, and he wasn't sleepy, but he didn't complain, just lay in there quietly until I went to pick him up! I thought it would take a few days for the baby to get used to the tent-airbed arrangement, but guess not! One day and baby is already good to go!

Out of the box, these seem to be really nice mattresses. Thick and durable, with a soft top layer for comfortable sleeping. Blowing it up was a challenge, and very time consuming even WITH an air pump. 10-15 min for each mattress at least, if not more. Used them for my 2 kids, 7 and 11. Definitely a nice size, more than adequate old or them.However, the second time we used it, it barely stayed fully inflated in the time it took us to get it set up. By next morning, it was 3/4 deflated. The second night was completely unusable. Into the trash it goes.For the price, not bad for a weekend. But don't expect long term use out of it.

Cómodo y no se desinfla a media noche, de hecho aguantó inflado 4 noches y hasta la última ya se sintió que se comenzó a salir un poco el aire por el uso. Lo único es q no lo pongan sobre una loseta brillante porque hace mucho ruido; ahà recomiendo le pongan una colcha abajo o bien q le den la vuelta.

We've been delighted in this product! We ordered it online with the "no rush, free delivery" option and received in four business days! We really lucked out, we have 4 grandchildren, 3 boys & 1 girl AND we got 3 blue ones & 1 pink one! Wow! Pure luck!The product itself is impressive. Very durable. Nice feature is the non-slip coating to the one side to keep the blankets/sleeping bags from sliding off!Only negative factor is that the deflation process is a bit tricky! You have to hold/pinch the knipple just right to get the air out. I'd recommend the manufacturer could include a little plastic 'venting tool/tube' to make this task easier.Highly recommended overal !E.& C. Doell,Canmore, AB.

Does the job as an occasional travel toddler bed for my 2.5 year old... We will use in hotels and in a cabin we stay at each summer. In the first use it held air and she said it was comfy. The pillow is useless...not comfortable. We will just take her usual toddler pillow with us on trips. She has only used it once so far so I can't say how long it will last. But I will say I paid a very good price a few weeks ago. After we blew it up the first time my older daughter wanted one... And I thought why not for 13 bucks! But now it is selling for double what I paid. Amazon is bad for that...prices that go up and down all the time. Well it was worth what i paid for sure... but not sure I would pay this much. We got a blue one... And I like the feel of the fabric. It's soft and not slippery. It is a pain to blow up and deflate... But I was expecting that.

Lo compre principalmente por que en unos foros de autos un usuario platicaba de su experiencia al usar este colchon en la parte trasera de una pickup ( con los asientos abatidos ) ya que el tamaño es casi perfecto. Dado el precio decidi darle una oportunidad y vaya, no es particularmente comodo, pero me imagino usandolo en un dÃa de campu o alguna emergencia.
