We rent our property so, we bought 2 cubic yards of topsoil for $60 to level out the ground instead of sand so we can just reseed grass when we move easily. It was just enough and it filled perfectly with no issues. So far no issues with the pool pump/filter at all.

We sort of pondered how to make the ground level for quite a while, googling things and making levels with long boards and looking at the ground from all directions. Then he just set it up and it’s pretty much level however when it became overfill with rain we could see it’s not perfectly level easier at the top of the pool. Just barely off- nice pool. I recommend getting the solar top. Our garden hose doesn’t fit on the drain of the pool my husband said. We haven’t got the water bill yet but we are bracing for it! Glad I got the 48 inch pool as it’s a good height even for adults to cool off.

I bought is pool in Nov to give my kids for Xmas. We couldn’t put it up until it was warm enough in early June. Here we are TEN WEEKS later and it is leaking from the bottom, and we’ve only swam in it about 10 times total!!! It must be leaking in a seam, there are no visible holes. The Intex we had before this one lasted for 5-7 years. Very disappointed!

Great size for small family. Pool setup was relatively easy, I did it on my own without help. I had intex air pump from a previous inflatable which made inflating the ring super easy.TARP. laid the tarp out and it appears to be ok, seems to be holding up, only time will tell after I take down the pool. Make sure to smooth it as best and use something to hold it in place while spreading pool.POOL. It is a 3200 gallon pool so took about a day to fill (filter on hose to help with water slowed progress, but helped with water quality). Layer it out and smoothed as much as I could and inflated ring, took about 30 minutes (again, I was doing this by myself, so took a little linger than if I was working in tandem). Filled the pool with a RV filter on the hose and as the water started I tried to stretch the bottom to remove as many wrinkles as possible (pulled on liner from outside and used feet to scoot the inside until it wouldn't move anymore.)FILTER: A/C filter, 1000 gph cartridge filter. I hated the filter cartridge, but our water is pretty bad here, so just washing out the cartridge wasn't working. So after battling water levels for a couple of weeks, and replace the filterbcartridge 3 times, I took recommendation and purchased a intex 1500 gph sand filter. Night and day. Chem levels finally stabilized and I am trying the microfilter balls vs the sand. So far so good.LADDER. The ladder is light and easy to put together, the warning plates are needed ro stablize the ladder sonit doesnt wobble as much so dont forget to put them on. Thos ladder is not made for traditional American hips. Very narrow at the top where you step through and I'm not sure it support the max weight. If you are over the 230lb range, consider buying a better ladder.COVER. Goes and off easy enough, has holes in top to allow water draining and air flow. Has a rope to tighten the cover around the ring if needed (stayed on pretty good with 23mph gusty winds, and kept a lot of debris out, and quick vacuum cleaned the rest)Overall I'm happy with the pool, tarp and cover. The filter was under powered and did not work well it just kept messing up.my.pool chemicals and putting algae back into pool, and ladder is borderline.Pics

We were able to set the pool up in about 20 minutes, once we leveled the ground underneath. My grandkids helped me assemble the ladder, it was that easy. We filled it and can't wait to go in!

Lesson learned here. We recieved the pool on time, but waited until our weather warmed up to set up, missing the 30 day return or replacement date. When we attempted to set the pool up, we soon realized there were several missing parts for the pump, and had no way to hook the filter system up. We called Intex and the reps were very nice, but told us we had to contact Amazon regarding the parts we did not recieve. The Amazon rep was very nice, but could not do anything. What it means is that we will have to pay for the parts ourselves. The pool itself is fabulous. If you order one, open the box and make sure the parts are all there.

I love the pool but you will need to A) MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON LEVEL GROUND. I cant stress enough. We leveled out and are maybe 1 1/2-2 inches off and you can tell big time. It works, but if you don't want to prepare first, this pool isn't for you.B) Get a better pump or prepare to clean out algae all the time.I love the depth, perfect for soak and floats.
