These stay up very well, and stay in place better than other hock boots I’ve tried. Soft, and comfortable. Very happy.

These hock boots have done a great job at protecting my geldings hocks and helping to heal sores that had formed before I was able to get these in him. That being said, they are best suited for stall and paddock use, not so much for turnout.

I have a warmblood/saddlebred cross and we recently re-did his stall and run (2022). He likes to lay outside and the hock sores were inevitable. We used regular coverage hock boots for a year plus and they were great. The big guy finally destroy them. Replaced with a neoprene pair that didn’t hold up and really annoyed the big guy. Purchased these after he shredded the original style hock boot after we brought those back into the mix.Ordered L/XL and concur with the other reviewers who report that there the Velcro straps are too long and need to be trimmed. I also make the mistake of leaving on a few days in a row and my horse’s hair rubbed off the back of his legs. It’s grown back in, but it’s white. There is a delicate balance between doing these hock boots up too tight or too loose. I’ve come down in the morning to find one or both around horse’s fetlock on more than one occasion. Obviously doing them too tightly causes the friction/hair loss issue. Recently put them back on after having the runs scraped and noticing that his hock sores are back with a vengeance. Hoping to find the right balance this time around.Seem to be good quality and easy to wash. A little pricey for the maintenance they require.

These PREVENT sores, they don’t heal them. You must clean out the sore (batydyn scrub and Nitrofurazone daily, place a 4X sterile pad on the wound then place these wraps over that.) In about a week or so, you’ll have beautiful pink skin. Once the wound is healed, stop the Medications but DO NOT STOP THE WRAPS. When applied as directed, the wrap stays on. We have Arabians (very busy) and our wraps stay on. You have to change them every day making sure they’re dry/clean etc. You must have the right size and apply them correctly. Our Arabians wear a Small to Medium and they’re perfect. As the wear in, they’ll become a little loose so I clip my velcro (along the lines) to keep the wrap snug. Even the directions say to put 2 fingers between the wrap and the horse but if they’re not snug enough, they’ll slide down. We’re very happy with these wraps.

These used to be amazing, but the quality has really dropped off! Each pair has a big tear over the hock/center of guard within a month. It's incredibly frustrating and makes these not worth the money. They used to last a year-ish. Unfortunately just can't recommended them anymore and working to find another option.

I need these for my horse, so I keep buying them. They do a good job of protecting his hocks from "bed sores"; however they are not durable. The elastic stretches quickly and they wear out and tear too soon. I usually end up replacing them once or twice a year. They are expensive and the quality does not live up to the price. I'm looking for a better, more economical product.

SUPER happy with these so far. Bought them for my gelding, who has a chronic hock sore I just can't seem to get on top of, and it has been doing exactly what was expected (letting the skin heal without risk of reinjury).I have been using 24/7 for about 2 weeks and it has not come off yet. I do take it off at least once per day to groom underneath and readjust. I tighten it until I can slip one finger between the front of the hock and the boot.My horse was at the smallest end of the larger size, so I sized down to the smaller one. I am glad I did, as the boots fit well, but the elastic does stretch out significantly. If I had ordered the larger boot, it may have stretched too much to be effective.

I have a TB that manges to rip, chew, destroy everything. When I put these on I expected to see them tossed to the side of his stall shredded like an old blanket...and so did everyone else. But the next day they were on and strapped in place and every day since. Buy these, they work. And the synthetic fleece is a nice touch to add extra cushion and protection. FYI: My pictures of the hock boots look bulky because I have a cotton layer on the inside because the sores are draining.

This was used for protecting an open wound on one of our ponies. It did an excellent job .

Super efficace, tiens très bien c'est la seule chose que j'ai essayé parmi bien d'autres pour guérir les blessures aux pointes de jarret.
