I ordered these as favors for goodies bags for a 'mad science' week at school. I really wasn't sure what to expect, and I didn't hold high expectations for them. They are amazing little pens! We loved them. The students loved them!!! They really worked just as stated in the description. They had a bright little light. The ink showed up like magic. My kindergarten students loved them! They wrote their names and drew pictures as fast as they could. A few of them actually wrote secret messages. These were the hit of the party, and we had some cool toys in their goody bags. I would recommend them. They're great fun at a great price. I don't know how long they last because the students took them home with them. We gave ours away to other kids. I really feel that we got our money's worth at the party.

I bought these for a 5th-grade school party and they were a big hit., I was pleasantly surprised at well they worked for the price. I did discover there is an art to writing in ink that you cannot see but the kids seemed to have a ball writing messages to each other. I am not going to lie, I kept one for myself. Even at 46, there is something fun about writing secret messages to your spouse. I guess some things never lose their appeal. the lights are much stronger than I expected and while I don't know how they will last over the long run they were great for a kid's party.

Bought these for my students - great bang for my buck! I was worried about the quality etc. but they are excellent! The packaging of each item is a little flimsy but that’s just me knit picking. These are perfect gifts, work great, and honestly better than I expected!

These were a hit at school for the kids to pass out non-edible treats at school. Very cool. Very affordable. BUT, yes some lights did not work on the pens. Enough to be annoyed, but not enough to complain about. I would purchase these again.

Gave these out as party favors and they were a huge hit. Was definitely worth getting the ones that are packaged individually as there are instructions on how to use.

I baught these for party favors for my kid's birthday. They all loved them. I also have little ones, who took to writing on themselves and walls and such, and these will mark those surfaces and light up with the light. So be careful if you have small kids. But overall they are fun.

This is true to description of items. The ink works well and when you use the light it looks very clear and nice just as in the description. The smelly pens were okay but everyone liked these so much better. They even asked if they could have two of these instead of the smelly pen.
