The tip can be damaged if the iPad pencil is dropped and will also wear down with use. If either of these occur, the tip will need to be replaced to avoid damaging the screen.

To start using the iPad pencil, simply turn on and draw. No software downloads or pairing required. Here are some tips to get started:
- Make sure iPad is updated to iOS 12.2 or above. To check your iOS version, go to iPad Settings → General → Software.
- Disconnect any previously connected digital pencils, prior to using the stylus pen by going to iPad Settings → Bluetooth → Select the device you want to disconnect. If you do not want to forget other digital pencils, simply turn your Bluetooth off before using the pencil.
- If the pen tip is loose, it may cause lag or jitter while writing. To address this issue, you can tighten the pen tip or replace it with a new tip included in the pen's packaging.

This works great so far. I don’t know *how* it works. I plugged it in to charge it, then it just worked. There’s no Bluetooth pairing or anything like that. I took me a little while to realize exactly how to turn it on and off. I was actually trying to push on the top like it was a button that needed to be pushed down. I was getting frustrated that it was not easily turning on when I realized that it just takes a gentle double tap - not a push. Although, it can be a little tricky at times. It is definitely a great option if you to not want to spend over $100 just to have a nice pencil option. I like having a pencil option because sometimes my hands start to hurt and holding the pencil can be easier on my hands.

May not have all of the features of the Apple pen, but it works great for a MUCH lower price. Very glad I tried this before I spent the extra money on the Apple pen. Absolutely no complaints about this pen. Especially when paired with the paper feel screen protector. Feels just like sketching on paper.

Battery is average and doesn’t seem to last as long as advertised especially during heavy use projects on apps such as Canva or PS.Some annoyances. It will turn off unexpectedly at times and I’m not sure why. Perhaps it is because of the placement of my hand when using it, but this only happens sometimes, that’s why I think bigger hands are likely to run into this problem every now and then. I think my palm can, depending on the rotation of the pen, set on the part that turns it off. Just a guess tho.What I like. It charges fast. Like really really fast. Run out of juice and you’ll be back up and using the pen in what seems like no time. A few minutes at most. Also, it seems to work well with Apple Pencil Settings on iPad. I own an Apple iPad Pro M4 13â€.My iPad Pro M4 has the nano coating and this one has not affected it or scratched it. It’s nano coating safe it seems. I’ve been using this pen heavily for a few weeks now.

I daughter just lost her apple pencil, so I bought this for her.It's great pen gets the job done. Double tap to turn on and off. Easy to setup. Price is cheap. It is pretty accurate. Lighter than original pen.

Easy to setup, just remove the apple pencil from the Bluetooth if you have, and it functions like the apple's.
