Nice. The table is just the right size for our kitchen. The extending mechanism works great. Read the instruction though, it is a little different than others I have seen. Assembly of the table was a snap. The chairs were a little more complicated and took longer because of the number of parts. My son and I put this whole set together in about 2 hours. I am a disabled Vet so your assembly may be quicker. Follow the instructions carefully for the chairs. Some parts look alike but are different. Very good product for the price.

Everything came well packaged and there were no missing parts, nothing was damaged. The directions were easy to follow. Since we have a bench seat we put the other two chairs in a spare room. I am so impressed with how well made this dining set is. The color of the table and chairs is exactly as shown. It all went together so easily, all the holes lined up perfectly. It's a great set. It's compact but yet large enough to accommodate a family gathering. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone looking for a good bargain on a quality dining set.

Chair is missing metal to attach legs. Chairs rock and we’ve been unable to remedy it. There’s no padding on the bottom of the legs so be careful on your hardwood floors. Materials are very thin. Very hard to build. My husband doesn’t anger easily and I’ve never seen him so angry building something. The hole alignment is a pain in the butt to get right without 2 people. This has taken hours to build. Fingerprints show very easily.

I recently purchased this dining set, and while it has an attractive design, I encountered some significant issues.The assembly instructions were clear, but there are a lot of pieces, which can seem overwhelming at first. It took about 4-5 hours to assemble manually without professional tools.The table is practical and a great dining set for small apartments (nyc), but it’s not the most sturdy option. Unfortunately, the quality was disappointing. There were chips and crevices on the top wooden pieces of two chairs in addition to some peeling in the material.The table and chairs lack protective pads on the legs. After moving it for the first time, I noticed several scratches on my wooden floor, which was quite frustrating. To prevent further damage, I had to purchase felt pad inserts separately.On a positive note, the color and design are visually appealing. If you decide to purchase this set, inspect all components thoroughly upon delivery.The seller was responsive when I reported the defects. Overall, while this dining set is good for small spaces, the quality concerns make me hesitant to recommend it without caution.

I have a family of six and just recently bought a home with a small dining room. I wanted to buy a table that wasn’t too big but would be able to fit all of us and looked nice. I saw this dining set and took a chance since there were no reviews on it but the measurements were what I was looking for. I put it together myself, which took about 40 minutes. The table and chairs are light, but sturdy, and although it’s narrow, it fits my whole family (and we’re not small either). I’ve been using it with the leaf in it, but the leaf is easy to remove and install. The material is okay, I would say it’s a step below an IKEA table, and only time will tell how well it lasts, but for now it works well and we are all happy with it.

We live in a 850 sq ft 1950's house with no eat in kitchen or dining room. I looked high and low for folding or leaf tables but realized we wouldn't use the table if we had to constantly set up and tear down.This modular set has been a true surprise in functionality and style. Not only does it fit our space perfectly, but we can make it as compact or spread out as we want by tucking both benches under completely. When I had a movie night we used one of the benches at the couch for an extended coffee table/food spread situation.The table top and frame are high quality for what they are. There haven't been any issues maintaining it and while I try to use coasters with hot and cold beverages I sometimes forget, no marks or unsightly stains so far!In the beginning we thought we'd have to get some 1-2" memory foam or padding custom made upholstery bench cushions to soften, but we have quickly realized that being able to comfortably slide on and off the benches is nice, and we have gotten used to the bench style seating. For guests, sometimes we'll just fold a thin blanket so it looks like a cushion and place that for them if desired.The leaf expands easily and truly increases the top of the table while not impacting the base, so the benches can still slide completely under! I have some folding wooden chairs and other typical dining height chairs that work on the ends perfectly. Larger friends and family have been able to comfortably hang out and dine on this set, so it's a winner!
