Only smart people can see it!I used the front facing iPhone camera, to see a faint glow. Gets just a bit warm.Took it apart, and siliconed the bezel front and rear. Now it’s waterproof. Using this for insect and IR camera tests.

While the LED light body is sealed from weather, they housed it in cheap metal that rusts in no time. Bracket is also cheaper metal and the hardware is not stainless steel. Lead wire is short.Could be improved by changing metal frame and bracket to more weather friendly quality plastic, use stainless steel hardware and provide a longer cord (minimum 3' - better if 6').I bough to use as an aid to CCTV camera, but it is not durable enough to last outdoors.

Item did not work at all after I connected a plug and plugged it in using the brown wire for line one, the blue wire for neutral and the green/yellow wire for ground. I plugged it in and got nothing. Also there are no instructions as to how to wire it and the wire colors are European and I live in Texas. Good thing I'm a diesel technician and I'm resourceful. Do not recommend this product for anyone not skilled in electrical work.
