I wanted a IR light that produces 940nm wavelength light to boost the clarity of my baby monitor. The flood light performs excellent.

I tested working great with my Wyze camera at night. It's get cold outside, I am not ready to install. I have another 850 nm light ,red lid at night . This one 940nm is totally not visible at night. I will find a spot to install once the weather getting warm.Unfortunately, After installed only 2 months , The light is burn to dead. Try to call the company support number, no answer . CMVision 's website has a same 940nm light with one year warranty. I just bought it half year, running only for two months. Don't buy , if you are looking for it. I just replaced with 850nm light ( I had 3 lights working at night)

I purchased three different types of 940nm lights to compliment my surveillance system. I am writing this review hoping it will help someone to make decisions. I had several requirements. The smaller the light the better. They needed to have a rather narrow light beam less than 60 degrees. They needed to be powerful enough and not visible to naked eye.The second light from CMVision https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Q15GLHE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 is just about an inch wider, but it is significantly less deep (flat). The LEDs are concentrated in the middle, so you could potentially have a visibly smaller light if you covered the edges with vegetation for example. The third light I looked at was https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XFL9G52/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - was the smalles of all by a big margin. Both this light and the other CMVision light are very slightly visible if you look directly into them from about two foot distance, but completely invisible from further away. The third Microlight had the most light in visible spectrum, you could see it from 10-12 feet easily. In the order of how powerfull the beam was - this light was the strongest, the Microlight and the newer CMVision light were about the same. The angle of beam was the narowest in Microlight, maybe 45 degrees. This light has about 90 degrees of faint IR light and within that a very strong hot spot of about 30 degrees. The second newer CMVision light has a pretty uniform 90 degrees pattern. All three consume about the same amount of electricity. In the end, this light is the winner if you can overlap their periferal light and the hot spot addresses the critical areas. Than you have a relatively well lit area upfront with some reach where you need that.

Purchased since you cannot see LED bulbs when “onâ€. 940nm does not illuminate as good as 840nm, but I wanted for not being noticed when “onâ€.

Although this item was really good while it worked, the product stopped working garter only a few months. Comes with the cheapest power supply the vendor could find. I wish to be contacted by the seller to make this right.

Easy installation. Wide angle illumination. Going to purchase another.

When operating the light is not visible to a dark adapted eye -- and yet within the range of a night vision camera. What I wanted -- the faint red glow of ordinary night vision illumination is quite attractive to spiders. Be nice if the power drop was a bit longer, though.
