These paints and this kit are great. Generally they mentioned that these paints work best on a black base coat. I have found more desirable results on silver or white base coats, depending on what you want to achieve. I have not yet opened all the colors but the finishes I have done on lures are outstanding.

I tried the green to start with. It turned out pretty nice and the color change was very noticeable. I diluted it with the thinner it came with and it sprayed perfectly with the 20psi it recommended.

I've tried 5 paints so far for painting fishing lures with and each have sprayed very well with no clogging. And colors are very nice.
