This is a great lockbox key holder. We recently purchased a new house and wanted to allow various contractors access to our home so they might begin working on projects without our being there. This product worked like a charm. It's easy to set up and open. It fits perfectly on the door handle and doesn't damage the door. And the key code is simple to change. I got the medium size key lock after reading reviews and it was the right choice. This is a great product. Do yourself a favor and buy one and you'll have the peace of mind that we now have.

We had been hearing of home break ins where the electricity would be shut off to the home to disable an alarm system and our local police department had recommended putting a lock on the electrical panel door. I know in many areas of the country the electrical panel is located inside the home but not out west.I was looking for a sturdy lock to put on the electrical and solar panel boxes. I needed a lock suitable for the smaller diameter of the holes on on the panel doors that weren't flimsy or easily cut. I had one neighbor who had used a drill to enlarge the hole but I didn't want to jeopardize the integrity of the door. The cable on the lock box with the removable cable shackle was perfect! As you can see in the picture, it fits perfectly through the panel door latch. Since I live in Las Vegas, it isn't exposed to rain/snow/sleet/ice like in other parts of the country but I will figure out some type of cover for the dials later.The U-shaped on the other lock box was ideal for my solar panel door latch since that hole was a bit larger. I really like that the dials are behind a sliding "door" and are protected from the elements which I really like.Setting the codes was pretty easy though moving the small lever to the "set" position was a little tricky at first but not impossible.As an added "bonus", I can actually use the lock box to store an extra key safely. I bought the lock box with removable cable shackle for a neighbor for Christmas and she was thrilled. So glad I came across these two locks.
