It’s a smaller sized board but it is so incredibly sturdy! I was going to return it because I mistakenly bought wrong length but we love it now. Impressed with its construction and the pad.

The flipper thing to lower the board is totally non-funtional. I had to turn the board up side down to put the board flat. I am disappointed and do not recommend this ironing board.

Been years since we changed our ironing board, so it was time. We chose this one because our new iron needed a resting spot. This board did come with extra tops, just the thin cover, not the padding. The iron rest is sturdy even for a large base iron like ours. The bottom shelving is a nice extra. It is an adjustable ironing board. My wife had set it up and at first it was very low to the ground, and she was not happy. It just needed to be adjusted and is just as high as our old board. It does take some time getting used to this board. The overall length is about the same and the width is a little shorter. With the iron rest taking up space, the ironing part of the board is now smaller. After a week of use, we got used to it. Just a little harder for longer pants. I don't want a longer board taking up more room, and I want the iron rest, so this is my only choice. The only downfall is, I would prefer the board to be a little sturdier. I don't have any issues with wobbling, and it doesn't feel like it’s going to fall apart. Just would be nice to be a little heavier for the price point. Otherwise, a nice board with iron rest. Hope this info helps.
