Now that I finally got this installed, set up, and app installed I have to say I’m very happy with my purchase…Did it take a while-yes. First off, the first one arrived with a defective mechanism. We had already had to completely modify the door AND frame to fit the new latch plate and strike plate-and I’m not talking minor modifications either. So, unless we wanted to get a new frame and door, we had to order another, fingers crossed. So, I would say installing was not a breeze for us. I took one star off for that reason, as well as there being absolutely vague and confusing instructions…there is also a YouTube video for installation, however that was super confusing as well.Overall, I LOVE this product. Would totally recommend it! It is very well made, sturdy, and super fun to use.

This item is defective and I tried returning or getting a replacement and it said it was not eligible for a replacement or return. The item does not lock, when turning to the right the door opens without putting in a passcode or fingerprint as shown on the picture.

Very nice product especially if you have kids. I am surprised the rechargeable battery has lasted this long. A very nice product.

I have a few of these knobs at my house and usually they are deadbolt style, but this is actually just for a regular doorknob. So no deadbolt, you just have to take out your old door knob and put this one in. It makes it really nice because now I can lock my bedroom door but open it with out having to carry a key around with me.This knob is a little bit more heavy duty than most and I appreciate that. It makes me feel a little bit safer. It doesn't just feel like they could break it easily. I did make sure that I set up a code also in addition to my fingerprint just because I know on my phone my fingerprint doesn't always work and it seems like I have to redo it every few months so I didn't know if I was going to run into any problems like that with this lock or not so I made sure in programmed in a code as well Just so that I'm covered. So far so good though.If you're just looking for locking door knob and not deadbolt then this is a great one for you.

Lock is a little slower to work than my old fingerprint knob but it seems to work fine. I have 3 of them in the house and also bought a "bluetooth wifi gateway" box so I could open them remotely. Overall they were really easy to install and work ~90% of the time on first try.
