Pros-if you do a comparison, both the 700B sizes 1" and ¾†have the lowest friction loss. Obviously more important in a low PSI scenario, where you'd need all the PSI you can get.Cons (universal)-electric valves can last for years without service. Probably like most others, the repair kit costs almost as much as a new valve. Sometimes the whole valve may fail and the repair kit turns into replacing the entire valve. Always install with 2 unions.

First unit I had worked fine for quite some time then developed a leak I ordered a new one which came very quick but it didn't work but everything was worked out with replacements and all is well again. Great support and responceThanks Dan

Make sure you have the gasket in correct position such that water can get above the top of plunger.

3/4" NON adjustable 24volt solenoid valve. Not as much hammer as most irrigation valves. Do not over tighten. In the past have held up well over time.
