Used it for a 1/2" NPT tap on a shower project from hell and had to torque it like crazy, and it held up fine. Doesn't appear to be the best-built tool in my workshop, but for the price and essentially one-time use I needed from it I'm a happy customer.

Works as advertised, but for the extra leverage needed to cut pipe threads, the handles should be longer. Just cutting threads on a 3/8" brass pipe was tough with these handles.

I guess when you want a very specialized tool like this you cannot expect to get it cheap.

Really solid stock that gives you a lot of grip and torque. AdjustableGuide works really well for me.

You will note that there is very little product information. Be aware - this handle does NOT allow threading 1/2" or larger pipe. The guide opening is 13/16" (0.81") but 1/2" pipe is 0.84" or larger. I had to return the product because of this.

Doesn't hold the die adequately as the single set screw is too flimsy. I used it with the companion Irwin dies which has not detent for the set screw which just made things worse.
