I ordered this to deal with a stripped wheel stud on my Subaru Forester. A very bad dealership returned my vehicle with this issue after rotating the tires (along with a stripped oil pan drain plug). While fixing a flat in my friveway, I discovered the the strppied stud. I didn't want the hassle of removing the caliper to replace the stud so I ordered this on the chance it would work. And it worked like charm.

I used this to clean up some wheel studs that were damaged. I did not cut any new threads with it. Cheap repair saved $$$

It did what I needed it to do. I needed fully threaded bolts and all I could find was partially threaded, so I made my own.
