Seem well made and a good bargain for the price. They couldn't help me with the tasks I bought them for, but those bolts were impossible and I had to turn to a seasoned pro. The smaller ones don't inspire confidence and feel like they may snap with too much force, but still, I'm glad to have them in the tool box for future needs.

Had to remove a bathtub faucet knob, but the retaining screw was corroded and I rounded the screw head. Got this set, drilled into the screw, and used the appropriate extractor. The screw came out literally in two seconds. Wow!

I used the second-to-the largest for removing a pipe nipple that had broken off in the bung at the top of my large air compressor. I had tried a straight, fluted pipe nipple remover that didn't have a hope of working. The Irwin spiral flute extractor worked perfectly. I had to resort to an 18 inch crescent wrench but with slow and steady pressure and a lot of torque, it finally broke free. I used some PB Blaster to prep it about a day beforehand. I was really reefing on that wrench thinking the extractor would likely break, but it did the job and came through it like a champ with absolutely no damage to the extractor but certainly some great and effective gouges on the inside of the pipe nipple. Thanks for a great product. I now have my working compressor back and a pouch full of extractors ready for my next task.

Can’t say how thankful I am for this set. It paid for itself the first time I used it.I had two brass fittings that broke off in my air compressor manifold during transport, when it fell over.I was looking at having to buy a whole new manifold and disassemble the motor and top to remove the old manifold.With this set of extractors, I was able to remove both pcs. I had already drilled on them and tried to use a flat head screwdriver previously. So, they were chewed up a little.Still, that didn’t stop these from working. I first tapped the bit into the hole securely. Then I used a 12pt socket on a 1/2†wrench and slowly turned it until I was able to back the broken pc right out.This is the best purchase I’ve made on Amazon in a long time.It saved me a whole lot of money and time.

I was hopeful. This bit well. Broke almost immediately. Wasn’t using a drill just a crescent wrench. Had let the hole soak in pb blaster.

I have had this set for a year now and I have used the 1/4 extractor numerous times works good with black iron and fantastic with brass fittings would 100% recommend if you do any kind of small piping way better then the knock off brands completely worth the money

Used to extract a seized grade 10.9 bolt.These worked great. They bite in and grip straight away. The flutes stayed sharp even after a few attempts.This bolt was seized solid and I was using my full strength to get it moving.
