Hello everyone.First of all, let us get this out of the way. When someone purchases a guitar (whether it is used, refurbished, displayed model, with minor imperfection, or a new one) at some point you are going to set the action, set the intonation, treat the fret board, file the fret ends, replace/modify the knobs/switches/bridge/strings/pickups/neck/etc. to your preference. It is no difference when you buy your vehicle. Eventually, you are going to change/add/replace/modify items on your vehicle to your liking. And that is fine. With that said, please do not count these components as a negative criticism towards these guitars.Let us just focus on the guitar itself. With minor tuning and neck adjustments, these guitars are ready to play right out of the box. As you know, minor tuning and neck adjustments are common with any guitar you purchase. The finish, quality, and construction of these guitars are awesome. The headstock is eye-catching. The neck is straight. The frets do not have dents/divots and are smooth (no sharp edges). The fret board is fine. The body is beautiful. The joints/seems are connected to satisfactory. The hardware (pickup selector or switch/output or input jack/volume & tone knobs or controls/bridge/pickups/pick guard/tuners/electronics/screws/nuts/strap buttons/fret or inlay markers/fret nut) are nice, functional, and tight. There may be some small blemishes or cloudy finishes here and there, fret board might have some kind of dye on it, but nothing really significant that would cause you NOT to play the guitar immediately.I’ve made NO modifications or changed any components on this guitar and had no major issue with feedback noise, guitar getting out of tune from hours of play, components getting loose or not working, breaking strings, electrical issues, etc. Again, everyone has their option on what they consider feedback, guitar out of tune, components getting loose or not working, breaking strings, electrical issues, etc. And that is okay. It also varies on the equipment (amps/stacks/pedals/cables/etc.) you use and how you play these guitars. In conclusion, these guitars are attractive, feel great, look fabulous, sound terrific, entice you to play them and definitely fun to play.I am sold, and I am a HUGE fan of the IYV Guitars! I wished I could have purchased the earlier models when they first came out. If I had the money, I would buy all the IYV models. For an electric guitar under $200.00 and with no shipping fees, these guitars are an excellent investment! I will say it again. Not only are these guitars gorgeous, but they are also a pleasure to play.I hope IYV will continue to produce new models or have older models available because I am excited in purchasing them in the future.Thank you IYV Guitar company/staff for producing this magnificent product!

I ordered this guitar and waited months to receive it but wasn't prepared for what I received. A beautiful and accurate copy of a Mosrite Avenger. It's a bit heavy at 8 pounds but that lends itself to great sustain, the thing rings like a bell. There are a few of the usual IYV finish flaws but they're minor and the overall appearance is of a $1000 plus guitar. I'm not a Bigsby lover but the generic unit on it seems fine and stays in tune reasonably well for a Bigsby. The neck is probably roasted and stained Jatoba but it looks and feels like Ebony and has a great profile and feel. The P90's in it are crystal clear with the characteristic growl of P90's. The tuners are substandard as usual but that's a simple fix, a set of lockers is in order. All in all this guitar is a gem and an absolute steal at a little over $160

Guitar was packaged well, and tape on shipping box still secure. Wrapped in the usual styrofoam sleeve. Front of body and one of the pickups scratched, may have happened at factory, or someone had it and sent it back in. I can buff out the scratches so not a big deal. Like the feel of the neck, guitar is a bit heavy. Plays and sounds fine, I will check frets when I change strings. Another neat looking, fun guitar from IYV.

Flawless black finish with satin maple neck and rosewood fretboard. German carve with reverse horns mimics original with a wider fretboard to ease fretting. The bigsby knockoff performs well and seems to be sturdy. Tuners are satisfactory. Somewhat heavy but well balanced. Well worth the money and would not hesitate to buy again !!!

I had been watching for this funky rig show up on Amazon for quite a while, and when they finally arrived, I jumped on it. This is my second IYV guitar along with one bass, and again, I'm not disappointed. It's beautiful in its own special way, and I cannot find a single flaw in the workmanship. The setup/intonation right out of the box was spot on, and other than the standard dry fret board, is pleasure to play. Folks pay extra for this buzz free low action. Tuners? Not the best, but I'll keep'em. The P90's are better than expected and I see no reason to change them. They're crystal clear at all volume levels and when pushed, have that incredible P90 growl: nothing 'over the top', just sweet. At this price point, all of the above really unusual. If these pop up again, I say "Jump On It". . .

This s a great guitar even if it were more expensive. zero issue was th this one stock. Pickups are Great! I did install better bigsby spring and more expensive strings. These guitars are good enough to go straight to bar gigs with, or jam sessions.I’m very impressed with Iyv brand guitars. I’ve got a few different models, and have had zero Fret r nut issues with any. But, these mosrite copies just kill, out of the box. Zero paint issues, perfect binding, etc.

I always wanted a Mosrite guitar and this copy is great. Looks awesome plays very well out of the box. Intonation was right on. The nut could be a little lower. The neck is very nice maple. It’s very big and thick which doesn’t bother me, but might bother someone with small hands. The guitar is also very heavy. The trem works really great with a roller bridge. It actually stays in tune!I would love to see this guitar with a chambered body and baritone option.
