This body is absolutely awesome. All the lines to cut on we're presice, it even has little dimples to drill into for the posts. This thing will be my new favorite body. I only have 2 complaints (if you'll call them that)1st: since the body is so thick it's a wee bit hard to cut, I ended up using my dremmel with a metal cutting blade, I tried scissors and hobby knives, they didn't work.2nd the spoiler was a little confusing, the cellophane is on the outside of the spoiler but the part of the spoiler you most likely touch, is the part you paint. It was confusing, I painted both sides of the spoiler.Other than those 2 minor things, this body is awesome. I will probably buy other body styles from JCONCEPTS.

It fits Rustler XL5 or VXL. The body comes clear and you must trim/cut the bottom. This is a couple hour project but very worth it. It gets lots of complements on custom look. The body shell is hard to cut with regular scissors, so you will need lexan hobby scissors, really strong scissors, or a Dremmel tool. Also you can drill holes for mounting like I did or you can get a hobby "body reamer" for nice smooth holes for mounting. You will need to buy special paint called "Polycarbonate" (aka lexan) paint online or at a hobby store. It is not expensive and this paint is flexible and will stick to this lexan/plastic the best. You mask and paint the inside of the shell and if you see pics we used transparent green and silver. It comes with lots of stickers and we only used a few for lights etc. See customer pics below.

First off this is a hobby grade body! It is NOT pre cut or painted like in the initial photo (you will need either curved lexan scissors or a hobby knife and lexan paint), a lot of people seem to not understand this judging by comments on some of the bodies for sale! Otherwise it is a really cool looking body that is designed to aid in performance on and off the track. My favorite feature is that it does indeed come with a buggy style wing that gives it a 1/8 truggy look and not the typical flat spoiler most stadium truck bodies come with. Also even though it is marketed to the Rustler I found other body post dimples that leads me to believe it can be directly mounted on other popular brand trucks!

The stickers that come with this are almost worthless you have to cut out each one, and most won't fit my body style, 2 of 3 the grills don't fit , and 2 of the 3 headlights don't fit, the taillights don't fit, it's like they are made for other body styles. Get really good painters tape and polycarbonate paint. The instructions were vague so I watched videos on YouTube and they helped a lot. This was Way harder than I was expecting. I don't have much patience and this whole thing is about patience. Cutting it out is a pain. Taping it is hard and time consuming there are a lot of contours. Painting went well except what got under the tape in the corners even though I kept pushing the tape down.

If people would read the entire post before buying, this body will have better reviews. I have bought 3 now and did them all in different colors and strips. It's the best looking body I have found for the rustler and yes you will need to cut and paint, which is all the fun. Also it is plastic, so it will scratch/Crack if flipped at 50 mph.....

Great quality body. I have wanted this body but had put off ordering it since i wanted it for a stampede. Finally broke down and got it. Had to make a rear mount for it as the rear mounts on the stampede wouldnt line up well. Nothing to hard though. The rustler runs a single post and thats what i modeled mine after.Looks great and enjoyed giving the truck a new look.
