This handle keeper does the job of holding that floppy handle in place. The jack is heavy duty and you have to hold that handle upright and this little gadget is contoured to slide over the jack, and secures the handle in place. You could diy something, but this keeper will last forever, functions great, and is inexpensive. It’s too bad this wasn’t included on the original jack, but capitalism rolls on. Highly recommend.

I bought two of these (at separate times) cause the release tab was torn off by high bush while off-roading. I mounted my high lift jack on the left rear door of my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon cause with a 4in lift and 37s for tires, I wanted ease of access to my high lift and being mounted on the hood, while very popular, to me, impractical for my setup. So, I mistakenly had the tab facing out away from the Jeep instead of towards the Jeep. I will saw that the product does as advertised. Even with the release tab ripped off, it still kept the high lift jack handle from bouncing around. However, it does not prevent the jack handle from being articulated so I ordered a second one the same day as the trail I went on.

It's been standing still for a while now, holding my jack. It only comes off in times of some pressure or moving the jack, which isn't too important. It fits my 58†hi lift jack.

This keeper keeps the handle from always falling in the was as the original spring clip doesn't hold. It also keeps the jack from rattling so much when hauled in the back of my pickup.

The rubber tab or hook part is to soft. It comes out of the hole easily and will open on its own. Maybe if kept cold where the rubber is stiffer it would work... but I find it to flimsy. I'll just use a velcro strap instead.
