It's a good, sturdy, solid bench hook that can also be used as an inking plate. But the dimensions given are incorrect, the 7.5 x 10.25 work area is actually smaller, because the 10.25" dimension includes the "hooks" that are not available to work on. So I found it too small and returned it. I'm buying a wooden one from McClain's Printing Supplies, instead, since I use a glass rectangle liberated from an old picture frame as an inking plate and just needed a bench hook more spacious than this one.
